A 55-year-old Jermaine O'neal sticks the game-winning heave from halfcourt.

BOBCATS BASKETBALL!

only after Mullens misses a shot, bobbles a rebound and somehow taps it too him.

On a related note, the Phoenix Suns training staff can always amaze me. O'Neal has been averaging 7.4ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.7bpg in 17 minutes per game, after having two horrible and very forgettable seasons in Boston. Last year this dude left the team in January because of a left wrist injury (who's a bigger pussy - him or Tyson Chandler?), this season he'll probably play more games than during the last two years combined (49).

I was almost certain that he's a lot older than 34, just because of how bad he looked in a Celtics uniform. The days of his prime in Indiana do seem to be so long ago though.

If Kemba and Hendo aren't worn out from last night they should be just ticked off enough to do this.

It's not that O'neal is older than 34 but its rather the amount of abuse his body has seen playing in the NBA since he was 18. It is not simply age which weakens players after long careers but rather a combination of this and the huge toll which playing 80 games a year and practicing year round takes on the human body. This kind of accelerated aging is evident in almost every player who jumped right from high school to the NBA because for all intents and purposes in terms of physical abuse, they are several years older.

I bet that left wrist injury was a huge toll on him.

It's completely unreasonable to ask fans to pay to come watch Byron Mullens play basketball.

Did you guys hear the PHO announcer say Mullens isn't known as a scorer, more as a "banger who sets alot of screens."

I was still chuckling about that when Hendo bounced that pass off Biz's face. Oof.

sigh of relief for MKG's aggression going to the basket and overall being involved in the offense, for real.
