Rockets put up 77 in the FIRST HALF Vs the Warriors.
Most nights we are lucky to put up 77 points for an entire game.

Chances that Gasol is starting next season as a Laker?
Less than zero IMO. He's half-assing this year and he's getting his ass out of that mess.

I disagree. I think the Lakers trade Howard and are forced to keep Gasol. Howard stated "I just wanna have fun" in an.interview with Stephen A. He needs to realize that in Kobes world there is no fun. Just business.

I don't think Howard is traded. LA's FO explicitly (and stupidly) said "we will not trade Howard". The team is going to miss the playoffs entirely and everyone's going their separate ways in the offseason. I seriously see Dwight going to Atlanta, which unfortunately means we get to see his annoying ass oversized smiley face four times a year again.

I dunno. I think LA is playing reverse psychology with Dwights agent. No.team is ever committed to a guy on the last year of a contract if hes not willing to sign a extension.

What if the Grizzlies completely fall out of the playoff picture after the Rudy Gay trade? They've been looking like a sub .500 team lately.

Samuel Dalembert started a game 16 of 17 from the field and the Rockets poured down 23 three-pointer on a team not located in Charlotte. Is this real life

They should've kept Gay and traded Randolph.

I think they'll stick around as a low seed. I hope they do so they keep the Lakers out of the playoffs.

Hollinger going to end up back at ESPN in another year trying to play moneyball using PER without thinking about chemistry and fit. They still have time to gel though before the playoffs. I just had to ask since it appears that the Raptors and Grizzlies have reversed fortunes for the time being but their records are a total seesaw right now.

Pau Gasol felt a pop in the bottom of his foot during the Los Angeles Lakers' 92-83 win at the Brooklyn Nets.
Gasol will have an MRI on Wednesday and the fear is that he tore his plantar fascia.
Gasol left the arena on crutches.

I wonder if ESPN will give Samuel Dalembert's 16 for 17 start as much praise as they gave LeBron's 13 for 14 night considering that he actually made shots outside of the paint

How and why can the Wizards take down the NBA biggies while we can't even win against the teams that have a slightly better record than us? Whyyy?

Wizards have a more talented roster than we do. Hell everyone does.

Rudy Gay hit a nice game-winner in OT over Paul George to beat the Pacers tonight. I'm still bitter that we didn't do more to land him on our roster.

The Wizards, Cavaliers, and Pelicans continue to pull away from us at the bottom of the standings. All of them won tonight while we embarrassed ourselves in front of our home crowd cheering for the opposing team. How pitiful is that?!

I feel the same bitterness towards not landing Rudy Gay. Some trades just don't work out I guess. The interest was there as Higgins was saying they were willing to go far to acquire him. Now he's the guy in Toronto and their fans have something to cheer about. Now they're reportedly trying to add Boozer as well, another guy I wanted here.
At some point you just want to watch a team succeed and you will settle for a 6 seed without lottery picks and fantasies of better tomorrows.
Toronto has done and excellent job shifting from rebuild to win-now mode. Hopefully we will be as fortunate.
Maybe somewhere down the line we pick up a pricey star like Danny Granger.
