Not that it mean anything but Brandon Knight was drafted before Kemba in the Rising Stars Challenge Draft too. Kemba was 2nd to last. Actually he wasn't even drafted because it was a blind draw the last 4 picks. That's embarrassing as a Bobcats fan since he's our best player.

Pardon my ignorance but what exactly is a blind draw? Does it mean Kemba was endangered of not getting picked in the Rising Stars Challenge? WTH. That's a real shame.

^Nah they just assigned the last 4 (Kemba, Zeller, Schved, and Isaiah Thomas) by random draw after the first 16 were picked. MKG was 15, Knight was 16, and than these guys were assigned randomly.

I remember last year during Linsanity they added Lin and Norris Cole (I think) right before the draft, looks like they did the same this year by adding Rubio and Thomas.

I think they used the blind draw to save the latter players the embarrassment of feeling like the guy picked last on a pickup game.

I would have to re-listen to be certain but I'm pretty sure that both MKG and Kemba went higher in the draft held by The Basketball Jones. And it's only logical - they are guys who watch all of the teams, not only the big market ones, so they obviously have seen what Kemba and MKG can do.

I'm pretty sure that neither Barkley or Shaq know that Kemba averages about 18 points, 6 assist, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals. All they know is that the Bobcats are the worst team in the league.
