A win would be nice, but would be happy with even just a little effort....

From the Kings GT:
I don't even think we're tanking any more. This has turned into last season. Our players are so weary of some of the blatant tanking we've done the first couple months of the season, that we don't even give a **** anymore about even putting up a fight. If Mully and Hendo decide to just take their QOs this year so they can be UFAs in 2014 to get away from this team, I honestly do not blame them. I'll be disappointed, but not even remotely shocked. The tanking (and probably Ben Gordon's beef) has really **** this team up. If things don't drastically improve tomorrow night against Portland, I'm not watching this team for a while. It's starting to feel like an annoying chore.
This is it, if we don't bounce back, I'm not watching for a while. That's it.

If we don't win this one, I'm not watching anything NBA related until the draft lottery. I've wasted enough time supporting this franchise for nothing in return.

i almost never do predictions, but i will say: team puts up a surprising effort and has life until end of 3rd quarter, when the game slips to 15+ and the bobcats are not heard from again. i do not bother to watch.

Whew...119 to83 ?.....60 RPG to 19?......3rd qtr Salmons outscores our ENTIRE TEAM?
Coach Dunlap's postgame comments were
KINGS MADE SOME GREAT TRADES BEFORE DEADLINE AND REBUILDED THEIR BENCH..
BENCH HAD 40 POINTS IN THIS GAME TO OUR 24..
McRob was the only player on our team that kept playing and as far as I'm concerned
earned his position as a solid reserve on this team.
Tonight we have Portland and need to win to push that protected 2013 pick into 2014
draft so if we don't suck as bad next year we have 2 picks to trade up for Wiggins if
possible.
I watched both Mclemore and Shabazz college games over weekend.McLemores 36 pts
was impressive, but his 6'4" 195lb body at the next level and lack of any defensive skill
turn him into another Marshon Brooks bench player. On the other had, Shabazz played
less minutes had 19 points, and took his 6'6" 223lb frame to the rim on offense and
defense while at the same time scoring 3's from well outside the line. If we pick the #1
ball this year we should definitely pick him or trade down to get him. Noel and
Mclenmore are at best bench players. Shabazz is a Starter at 2 or 3.

Hickson and Aldridge will feast on our D-Leaguers. McBob should be starting.

per colin from wfnz on twitter (dont have access on work PC) - if bobcats lose by 20 points tonight we will tie NBA record for most consecutive 20 point losses in a row.
another record for us. do it.

cats have been outrebounded by 67 over past two games. that has to be an NBA record.

This team has lost its will to try to win, because they know either A) they wont win or b) Dunlap will try to make us lose in the end.
I think we would be best suited to cut down our rotation. I feel like we are playing too many guys right now. I would cut back to only an 8 man rotation.
Kemba
Hendo
MKG
Mully
Biz
with McRoberts, Sessions and Taylor only three guys seeing minutes off the bench.
I would hope that we could get more of a rhythm going and at the very least start to see a few guys have some nice box scores instead of so spread out.

I think the biggest problem is that it's sunk in to the players how bad the team is. We have to be hot to beat most teams, even if they're cold and lately we've ran into teams that got hot.
I wouldn't mind it if McBob and Mullens start and we just tried to streetball our way to victory. It would at least be mildly entertaining.

is the record only at four games? or am I so used to Bobcats basketball that four 20 point loses in a row seem ordinary to me when they're actually horrible?

yeah really if someone asked me to guess what our longest streak of 20pt losses was last season without checking I probably would have said 7-8 and thought I was low. seemed like we got blown out every single game

really curious to see what's going to happen today. If we get destroyed by +20 once again, it's more than obvious that these guys really don't give **** anymore. And if that's how we're going to roll for the rest of the season, I don't see any reason to follow this team anymore until draft night

i would normally say that a better barometer would be how we respond in the next 3-4 home games, since its hard to make judgements on the last game of a west coast trip, which is also the 2nd night of a back to back. however, our next three homes games are - nets, thunder, celtics.

You know your team sucks when after every bad game, you go on to NBA 2k13, create a 99-rated guy and adjust sliders to make it crazy and try to dominate your opponent by as many hundred points as you can just to feel good about basketball.

This was satisfying following our game last night. It's pathetic when something like this is satisfying, right?

It wouldn't surprise me to see Dunlap get fired out of no where if we keep getting throttled by 35+

Just read where he told Jordan in his interview it could take him 3-5 years to fix this..
