10 day contract on wed.

Bobcats really needed to add another point in Sessions' absence. They had an open roster spot.

Jannero Pargo is definitive NBA journeyman. Bobcats will be his 7th franchise over 8 seasons.

he can score, that much is for sure. i would have preferred we went with a younger guy who might have some upside. however, its needed to take some minutes from kemba. reggie just isnt a pg at this level.

As a diehard Zags fan, I'd rather have his brother, but he's not playing in Philly. I'd still love to snag a 3rd first rounder and get Kabongo. Noel/McLemore, Olynyk and Kabongo would be a great draft.

Smh we need to quit finding NBA scrubs and/or "journeymen" and go overseas and find someone there, or lure Allen Iverson.....

Or even Jonny Flynn, Gilbert Arenas, Mike Bibby, Mikhail Torrance.....

I wouldn't have minded trying Flynn, although I don't think there's anything there. I'm just glad we didn't bring Higgins back. I bet Reggie will still get minutes. Pargo is OK as a third point guard.

I've watched Johhny Flynn play in the Aussie League, I think he's done.

He got destroyed by our point guard, he's lost his quickness.

I would've preferred the Jerel McNeal idea somebody threw out there.

Honestly don't see the point; very reminiscent of the Jamario Moon signing. We're not going anywhere this year, so why not at least try out a young kid with potential instead of some retread? I'd honestly rather bring back Higgins. *hides*

Pargo will score off the bench for us. He can shoot the ball period and he has decent play making skills. I know some other names were being thrown around, but I think we could of done a lot worse. I think most of us will like him after u see him play.

When Flynn came to town (Perth), all I did was taunt him and give him crap whenever I could. Dude took a lot of ill advised shots and missed a crapload, think I got under his skin.

I think Marto kicking his ass might have done that too. He's as good a defender as I have ever seen.

Ugh. Not only did they go older rather than younger, but they brought in a first rate chucker. Every where Pargo has played he's been a me-first scorer trying to stick. Why not bring in someone who will facilitate ball movement? I mentioned McNeal. There's Ben Uzoh. They could've gone any number of ways that would have been less depressing and more interesting. Ugh.

:-? :-? :o  Why sign a vet when we have already tanked? Why not Courtney Fortson out of Dleague who's 25 years old has great stats and earned his chance? And just let him play 20 minutes a game to start. KW gets rest.... we see possible point guard of future not a rent a point guard.

As others have expressed - I give this move a definitive meh. We're in the middle of a youth movement, years away from the playoffs, so let's bring in an 8 year vet that's never proven to be more than a 10-12 man at best. Reggie is definitely not a PG, but c'mon. We've won 14 games, Sessions is out for 30 days, and Pargo is not going to be some leaps-and-bounds improvement over Reggie. Why not take a flyer on someone who might turn into something? Machado anyone?
