Did you know that the French missionaries and explorers were going to Milwauke as early as the late 1600s to trade with the Native Americans?

Also, Milwauke is actually pronounced "mill-e-wah-que" which is Algonquin for "the good land."

for the record, i think milwaukee is a sneaky good city, with a lot going on. great food, solid beer coming out of its ears, and a seriously underrated art museum. however it is as segregated as any southern city, which is weird. you never see a person of color north of such-and-such street, and vice versa south of it.

i went to milwaukee back in 1993. i remember the town smelled like beer. other than that, i dont remember much - some cool older buildings, some cool waterways and my buddy ripped a phone book in half at the hotel and my other buddy got food poisoning at dinner and then puked his guts out the next day as we drove from milwaukee, across wisconsin/minnesota to south dakota. good times.

Monta Ellis have it all...except for in the head but he might torch our putrid defense with his bad shot selection and erratic spinning drives to the basket.

MKG needs to work on his post game this summer as well. he really has no moves other than beating his man for a layup or powering thru his man for a layup. his jump hook is awful and he can shoot fade-aways because his hitch causes his shot to get blocked in those situations.

I would love it if MKG developed a jump hook in the post.
