Porter. He's going Top 3, so for him to be down to #7 makes him a steal. Far and away the best player on the Board.

In reference to what jd said before thread 6 was locked... this isn't a mock, we're just voting on BPA. If you think Porter is the BPA then vote for him (as I just did). I just don't see the point in voting for the "New guy" if Porter is really your favorite.

The problem is it does not give an accurate reading. More people voted SG than big man in round 2 so what happens if you take Oladipo out does McLemore crush Bennett because people want the SG more and they are viewed as better candidates. This is just horribly inaccurate so I decided to vote the way I wanted to. If there was any accuracy to the system I might change my mind but for now KCP seems as good a person here as any of the rest.

If we want a consensus we need to list 15 players and have people rank them and then we would get a much more accurate feel of where they line up.

I went with McCollum.

I think he is the most underrated player on this board. He can play either guard spot and score in a hurry.

Plus he is pretty good rebounder and defender so he brings something on both ends of the floor.

As far as fit on the Bobcats...

I just think he makes more sense for us when compared to Porter, because Porter is a SF and so is MKG, so one would always be playing out of position. Unless we dealt one, which would be dumb because their value would be lower since teams would know we would be actively looking to deal one.

So as far as McCollum goes at least he would eventually play a more natural position if Hendo was not retained or if Sessions was dealt he could be a great combo guard off the bench. At the very least I think he gives a great 6th man type for when Sessions and Gordon expire at the end of the year. Maybe he makes Sessions expendable in a deal to land a front court player.

Vote however you want, but there is no need for you to cry just because that the guy you hate went second on the big board.

If KCP is who you want then thats fine, but you specifically stated that you were just gonna vote for whoever was new on the board because you didn't like the results. Quit being a big BITcccH

If your opinion ever mattered in anything this would worry me. You are a moron who does not see the flaws in this voting system. It does not do what it wants to accomplish so there is no reason to take it seriously. Just because you are to dumb to realize this doesn't mean others aren't moron.

No name calling. No attacking other posters.

First and last warning for both of you.

Porter, BPA.

Don't see how this is flawed though. This is just to rank which players we value the highest. They are mutually exclusive once removed from the voting. Having a SG at #2 doesn't mean a SG# is less valuable from them on out. The point is to assume players 1-6 are off the board and take whichever player you think is best left.

I can tell we're getting real close to the draft. Folks are too emotionally invested in this ****

i am really calm heading into this draft because i dont really have any players that i love or hate. i would be ok with us picking any of the following at 4: noel, bennett, oladipo, mclemore and len. i would even be ok with us selecting porter assuming we had a plan to deal with the overload at sf. i am ok with trading back and taking zeller or any of the other guys on my list.

i guess the scenarios i would not be ok with would be:

trading up to select anyone. nobody in this draft is worth trading up to get.

selecting burke or bazz either at 4 or trading down to select them.

trading our pick for a win now player who wont help in the long run.

99% the same.

I'm REALLY wary of Noel.

Other than him I would be more than ok with Oladipo, Bennett, McLemore and Len - so really, I can't lose next Thursday night because I'm sure we will take one of them.

2. len
3. bennett
4. mclemore
5. oladipo

I think Zeller might even be higher than Porter just because we have MKG. Not sure whether they would be that high on Noel because of the similarities to Biz we already spoke about.
