Looking at the previously posted predictions on minutes distribution, I hope we trade Sessions before his value dwindles into nothing and replace him with a cheaper option that wouldn't mind playing less than 20 minutes a game like A.J. Price or something.

I think if you are playing Jefferson 30 minutes you will need to drop Zeller to 15 and take McBob up to 28. My thought is either you are playing Jefferson so much to win, in which case you need the best guys on the floor, or you are going to develop the young guys, meaning Biz sees way more minutes at Jeffersons expense.

I don't think defensively you can run Zeller and Jefferson together much. Maybe late in the season but in the start Zeller will be learning to defend away from the basket and will need a defender behind him.

I like this spread the best, but if we don't pickup Hendo, then split those minutes between Taylor and Gordon... I'm keeping my fingers crossed for JT to show a huge improvement this year

Don't care that much about minutes vs cost, he's a stud on the court and a class act off of it... hope he spends the rest of his career here

Jefferson (32) /Biz (24)

McBob (20) / Zeller (20)

MKG (32) / Taylor (12)

Hendo (32) / ??????????? (16)

Kemba (32) / Sessions (24)

Sessions plays some time at two-guard and during that stretch, either Hendo or ?????????? (Gordon, Taylor, a new guy, or our end-of-the bench guys) will be bumped up to small forward to play like 4 minutes of small-ball.
It's hard to differentiate the frontcourt positions but the quartet of Jefferson, McBob, Biz, and Zeller will hog most of those 96 minutes.

If we wanted to go super huge, there's always the option of playing two bigs AND McBob at the 3, with MKG and Kemba at the guards. No idea how that would turn out though.

:( :o :-? Jefferson needs at least 30mpg to pay for 13milsalary.20 at C and 10 at PF
Biz gets 20 at C and Haywood 8
Mcbob gets 20 and Z-man 18 at PF
MKG gets 28 minutes at SF,JT gets 10 and Hendo gets 10
Hendo 20 Gordon 15, KW5, JT8 at SG
KW35,Sess13 at point

29-53 gets us a top 5 lottery pick as younger players get more minutes on Bobcats roster

It's going to be difficult for Steve Clifford to distribute minutes, especially at the guard positions. If Gerald Henderson is retained like I'm expecting, I think Cho need to find a way to trade one of Ramon Sessions or Ben Gordon before the season start for future draft picks or a player that can play SF/PF

we are thin at SF and stacked at PG/SG...Ben Gordon has got to go

Exactly, but Gordon will be much more difficult of an expiring to trade than Sessions without hamstringing Charlotte's future to some degree by taking back a bad contract. Being that Kemba Walker should see increased minutes this season and the Bobcats have a coach that's likely not in favor of playing two PGs at a time in Clifford, I think Sessions' time on the floor will take a hit. I wouldn't trade Sessions for anything less than a 1st round though, so likely he'll be on board until at least the February trade deadline

Best guess assuming we sign Henderson

PG- Kemba (36) Sessions (12)
SG- Hendo (25) Gordon (15) Sessions (8)
SF- MKG (33) Hendo (9) Taylor (6)
PF- Zeller (28) McBob (14) Biz (6)
C- Jefferson (35) Biz (13)
