The Viking makes sure we start this year's highlights thread a bit earlier than usual.

legend. I'm so surprised by how many of those points came from his left hand in the paint.

He obviously does a lot of things better than Mullens, but the one thing that stands out to me is his willingness to fight for boards. A couple times in that highlight reel he would bang around to get a rebound. That should help our defense out on our opponent's second chance points, we were 26th in the league in that stat per 100 possessions. If they kept up a player stat for "2nd chance points per game allowed by a player" Mullens would probably have been at about 6.5 a game.

Really like the Zellar pick, he looks good in SL. I know I wouldn't get too excited over SL, but he shows good fundamentals and a basis of skills to work with. Can't believe some were ridiculing the Bob--er Hornets. I like the foundation they're trying to build.

Thanks. Hopefully someone like Wiggins or Randle joins that group.

How do you guys think your defense will be next year with Jefferson in the starting lineup? I love MKG and Kemba is starting to grow on me. I think you guys are maybe 2 pieces away from legitimately competing for a playoff spot. More depth maybe and a defending C. I'm sure some of you are sold on Biz, but I'm holding reservations until he makes that leap to a consistent defender/rebounder.

I think we're in no-man's-land right now this season. We need to either make a step back by trading someone for future assets or push for the playoffs by trying to land a really good player like Eric Gordon who can probably be had for expirings and a pick. Right now, we're probably somewhere between the 7th and 12th worst team in the league- right where we don't want to be picking next year.

Cho knows talent. I'm fully behind his pick, Zeller is going to be a star. Solid fundamentals, finishes with either hand, beautiful soft touch around the basket, strong and seems mature for his age, good head on his shoulders...jump on the bandwagon now!!

I think we might have snagged the best overall player in the 2013 draft
Loving what I am seeing from Zeller.

thanks for the vid lamar
few notes
- biz looks much improved in the boxing out phase of the game
- wont get too excited until he has some more consistent rebound nights - at least 10 of those defensive rebounds were completely uncontested rebounds off jumpers where bucks sent 0 people to offensive glass. 7 offense boards however is impressive.

hopefully its a sign that he has gotten smarter at positioning.
It was mainly jump shots though
