Yikes. His shooting hand is pointing away from the basket!

Everyone is there from what I've seen. Saw interview with Jefferson couple days ago and pics with Henderson. Good sign.

Great elevation though. His shot is literally a 3 year project. Don't go doing something tens of thousands of times someone's entire life to having a nice shot. His jumper is on par with Biyombo catching a pass and making a layup. Which is saddening considering that id put them both in the top 40 athletically in the NBA.

Glad its coming up already. NFL season wasted with the Panthers once again a massive disappointment

He seems to be extremely high on Zeller, and of course you have Taylor and MKG working their butts off to get ready for the season. It appears as if there is going to be a battle over who the starting PF is opening night. Up to Zeller, McRoberts, or perhaps even Biyombo. Guess it just depends on preseason. Great interview from Bonnell.

Edit: Was hoping he would have some type of praise for Biyombo

Zeller is going to be legit. Can't wait to watch him play.

Kinda surprised to see him say that about Taylor, "working his way to be a rotational player". I think he has our best chance to be a star. He was very aggressive wherever he played this offseason and looked like a dream starting 2 guard. Hopefully he gets to that potential in Charlotte and not for his 2nd team

Taylor reminds me of a poor mans Brandon Roy in his prime.

interested in his comment about rebounding. I mean, you could bring in players that know how to rebound. For instance, get rid of Haywood who was flat out useless last year and bring in a free agent like Shavlik Randolph who grabbed 25% of available rebounds when he was on the floor for BOS. Just an example.

Rebounding should improve with Jefferson and Zeller. MKG is already an elite rebounder for his position

I don't know about that. He's a good role player and we can hope he turns into an athletic version of Jared Dudley, great three point shooter, smart and tenacious defender, good rebounder, but not a star. That's exactly the kind of guy I'd want on my bench playing 20-25 minutes a game. Let's not get carried away with the SL and Sweden performances. He's still got some ways to go to reach the level of being a great role player in the NBA.

Based on last season, I think it's warranted for Clifford to say that he has to work his way into the rotation. Unfortunately, that probably means more Ben Gordon, but as long as Taylor outplays Gordon, Taylor will get his share of minutes.

When you're the only big man on a team's bench unit, getting 25% of all rebounds during garbage time doesn't mean much. Let's get an undrafted young guy instead of a 30-year-old Shavlik Randolph.

I would say besides Kemba he's the least flawed player on the roster, but has the advantage because he has elite size/athleticism for the SG position. He can shoot, he can drive, he can play defense. He seems to be able to handle the ball and dribble in traffic. He is good in transition. His midrange game needs work obviously, but he's been working on that. There's no reason he can't be more than just "a role player", if he is as aggressive and wanting to take over the team as his like he did this season.

You hope he doesn't turn into a star? What kind of thinking is that?

The team he's on/competition doesn't matter that much. There are plenty of NBA players who look just as average playing in much lower competition because of the way they play. I don't think Ben Gordon would have looked as good as Taylor on the Sweedish national team or SL, for example. Same with Henderson. He would have been his same passive self and not been in control like Taylor was.

I never said that. I would be absolutely thrilled if he became a star. I just don't know if he's ever going to be good enough to do so. Don't forget, the dude's already 24- he's not a 19-year-old just barely showing glimpses of crazy potential yet to come.

Sorry, but if you put a MOTIVATED, motivated being in caps for a reason... Gordon is a lot better than Taylor right now, as is Henderson. Taylor had a great SL, but come on now.... He's a rotation player for now. Let's not get ahead of ourselves.
