PS2: vs Heat Fri Oct 11 8:30PMEST

Post#1 » by fatlever » Fri Oct 11, 2013 3:03 am

game is being played in Kansas City

projected starters
walker
henderson
kidd-gilchrist
zeller
jefferson

the bobcats are not televising this game. no idea if the heat are.

things to look for:
- will mkg bounce back from an awful first preseason game. he needs to shoot with confidence when he is open and also look to get the ball to the rim quicker.
- henderson needs to show some improvement (and willingness to shoot) on 3pt shots. he took one in the first game and it went halfway in and then out.
- overall team spacing was a bit of a mess. hopefully another two days of practice and some game film can help.
- how will zeller and jefferson do defensively against a team that will attack the rim
- will mcroberts get in the game a little earlier this time. he looked really good when he came in.
- prove me wrong gordon and i will forever shut up.
- jeff taylor needs to show consistency this year which he can start by doing in the preseason. i dont want to see any let up from him.

I expect Lebron and Wade to go about 12%. Norris Cole will probably go ham on us or something.

if you are a sports fan in kansas city tomorrow night you should be really excited. usa plays jamaica in kansas city at 6:30PM EST for a world cup qualifier (albeit meaningless), immediately followed by the heat vs bobcats game at 8:30PM EST.

i wonder how many will try to attend both.

Heat aren't televising. Looks like I'll be box score watching.

Does it mean that there will be no possibily of streaming the game through p2p4u.net for example ?

In order to know if it worth it to stay awake until 2.30 am since I'm in Finland right now ...

ATL whipped the ball around the perimeter Tues leading to guys like Demarre Carroll and Mike Scott killing us with 3 pointers. Sound familiar? Would like to see our team defense improve versus that particular deficiency from last year.

Maybe we get to see Patrick O'Bryant on the court since he's being tipped as Haywood's possible roster replacement?

Not sure if League Pass is carrying game or not. Guess we will see.

Yeah ! Thanks !

The place where I normally get my slice of pie is showing a link for tonight at 2030, so I am planning to get my slice of pie there tonight. Maybe you can look at your usual place to see if they have a link up, then you will know.

They show a link on the website.
I will put my alarm clock at 3.30am, because I just realized that the game was at 8.30PMEST and not at 7.30 as usual...

That's some dedication right there.

does the new pie site require a download before pie will work? if so, how much extra crap do they try to sneak in at the time of download?
