game is at TWC

projected starters: kemba, hendo, mkg, mcbob, biz

bobcats havent allowed any team to score 90 or more this preseason and are holding opponents under 40%.

things that would make me feel better about the team
- henderson having a big game (or half, or quarter or 5 minutes). he has been so disappointing in preseason. i dont know if he is just going thru the motions (which would be a mistake) or if he just hasnt found his stride.
- we need to make some 3s, especially the starters.
- our pgs needs to feed the bigs with regularity. they are still stuck in hero mode from last year.

Wow... great timing on the scheduling. That arena will be almost empty. The Panthers are playing an hour and a half after this game starts lol.

This is a trend that alarms me a lot more than our spacing debacle, I'm glad I'm not the only one that's picked up on it. Our guards are practically allergic to hitting bigs rolling to the basket. I hope that's just the team trying to execute something new from Clifford's system and not Kemba and Ramon being completely inept as facilitating point guards.

Ditto this. About three games into the preseason, I noticed our guards running around the perimeter non-stop looking for shot opportunities with open bigs waving their arms. It was like there was a literal force field preventing them from seeing or passing below the top of the key. Made me want to pull out my own teeth to stop the brain pain.

Hendo's concerning me. Never was a fan of giving him that contract, even if it ended up being cheaper than I expected.

i dont understand how Kemba can beg for a big man that can scored then completely ignore him...granted Big al is hurt but still

We'll see how it is once Jefferson's back and we're playing games that actually count for something. I refuse to get alarmed over games that don't matter and clearly everyone's playing about 80%.

old habits die hard. it might take a few weeks into the season for the bigs to get hit on the P&R with a frequency that bears fruit.

Based on Bobcats' seating chart, there will be 15 NBA scouts at tonight's exhibition vs. Cavs. Why so many? (cont.)

Rick Bonnell ‏@rick_bonnell 35m

My only guess is Steve Clifford has not before been an NBA head coach, so there's no "book'' on his tendencies. HIs offense is very SVG-like

I'm ready to be able to say "Hornets" and not "Bobcats".

Half the league wants to know what they'll need to do to lose more games than us.

Steve Clifford said he'll use last 2 exhibitions to run rotations more like regular season. He notes 17 games in 1st 31 days of season.
