Probably the sixers. We were absolutely terrible, but the lockout on top of basically no training camp didn't help.

the 76ers, we had some reasons for being terrible, no training camp, no time to practice, lockout season....when your best player is Thaddeus Young you have some problems

I think the Sixers are worst just by looking at the overall roster but that don't mean that they'll play like it. As much as I hope the Sixers break the Bobcats record for worst winning percentage I doubt it will happen. They have core pieces from their playoff runs in Thaddeus Young, Evan Turner, and Spencer Hawes that might help them get over that hump but we'll see.

Skills-wise, the 76ers are a much worse team. Likely to miss Noel and J-Rich for the year and Arnett Moultrie out long-term as well, they only have 4 healthy NBA caliber players on the roster (Thad, Turner, Hawes, and MCW) and the rest would rot on the bench, Kwame or Lavoy Allen might actually be the 5th best player on that team).
Jury's out on whether they have a real coach, but it doesn't get much worse than Silas. 76ers have training camp, summer league, more than 4 weeks to get ready for the season... our record won't get broken unless they really go all-out tank mode (trading Young, Turner, and Hawes- which could actually happen) and field a starting five of rookies.
My prediction is 11 wins.

Don't look now but the Sixers have a 20-point lead on the Heat.

I remember when we had the Heat beat like the 2nd game of the year or so in our 7 win season. We choked it away while Wade and Lebron looked at Cam Newton and did the superman pose.
I could have punched a hole in my monitor.

I remember that game. Wade hit that ridiculous game-winner.

Obligatory "**** Dwyane Wade" comment

The Sixers don't seem to have as much dead weight on the roster like we did though, like Tyrus and DJ White and other complete scrubs. At least they're mostly young already. The Sixers just have terrible shooting. Will be interesting to see how bad the Sixers are this season. I have a feeling that not being coached by Paul Silas will give them an edge.

Eh Silas is a pretty solid coach, but he just wasn't prepared for the roster overturn and the youth we were going to have. Hes way too oldschool for all that.

i think the sixers just answered this question with their win tonight - bobcats 11-12 team is worse.

We won our opening night game in 11-12 and were a Wade layup away from being 3-1 to start that year too. Just saying............

hawes, young and turner might have been our 3 best players if they were on that 7-win bobcats team.

Agreed. Id take MCW over a rookie Walker and Augustin based off tonight alone. Turner is a lot better than Maggette, Derrick Brown or whomever we started at SF, and Young is of course better than Mullens or Diaw was.

I'd take Henderson over Hawes. Turner and Thad are probably the best two.
But seriously, either Turner or Spencer Hawes would be the best shooter on that team healthy (minus J-Rich, who's hurt).
At least our team could score from outside of 15 feet at all.

umm.. not really. Rookie Kemba, DJ Augustin, Maggette and Hendo aren't exactly big threats that far from the basket.
