I really, really, really hope he joins the broadcast team (and replaces Uncle Steve and/or Del).

I know he has been studying media relations and broadcasting and I think he would make an excellent colour guy.

It was a nickname I gave him years and years ago during his first stint with us.

He was playing really well for us and was a fan fave.

His initials are MC - which obviously connects to Hammer - plus it is just an awesome nickname and someone as dreamy as Matt Carroll deserves an awesome nickname.

In the early days he optimised our team. He was all heart, blue collar and gave his all 100% of the time. He was a fantastic role playing bench player. He was just so likeable.

No,no,no. The biggest problem is Steve Martin. I'd rather have the "real" Steve Martin than the one we currently have. He's a wild and crazy guy! Matt would be a nice fit next to a capable play by play guy. Bump Dell up to PD and leave Stephanie in her current position.

As a foreigner I listen to many broadcasts, and from the many NBA-broadcasts I think Charlotte's is in the upper half. Stephanie is one of the loveliest court-side commentator (or how you call them), in pair with the gal Boston have, Dell isn't really the tactical-minded, playbook citing guy, but I think he adds a plus to the broadcast, but I must second that Steve Martin is very mediocre at the best.
