Teams that have failed to meet expectations:
Brooklyn, projected to win 52. At this point they have 20 wins
Knicks, projected to win 48. At this point 19 wins
Cleveland, projected to win 40. At this point 16 wins.
Detroit, projected to win 40. At this point 19 wins
LA Lakers, projected to win 36, at this point 16 wins
Milwaukee, projected win 28, at this point 8 wins


Teams that have exceeded expectations:
Philadelphia, projected to win 16. Already at 15 wins
Phoenix, projected to win 19. At this point they have 29 wins (surpassed their projection 30 games into the season)
Toronto, projected to win 36 (with Rudy Gay). Already have 25 with out him
Portland, projected to win 38. Already with 34.
CHARLOTTE projected to win 26 and we are already at 21

Safe to say that the biggest surprise halfway thru this season is Phoenix. Portland is another positive surprise.

Biggest let down this season, in my opinion, Cleveland. I expected them to be a decent team this year and they have fallen flat. New York is a mess as well.

What does this all mean? Nothing, except Vegas doesn't have a clue some times. Just thought it was interesting thing to look at.

I went with Denver under 46 this year. Feeling good about it.

I knew Cleveland wasn't gonna be sh*t. That was just analysts wanting to believe that Kyrie is better than what he really is. I thought Detroit would've been a little bit better than they have been and would've traded Greg Monroe for a wing scorer like Klay Thompson by now to balance out their roster but it look like Dumars is either content with the mediocrity or waiting until the eve of the deadline. Phoenix has been a total surprise but that speaks to how good of a coach Hornacek is. I feel like we should have more wins than we currently have but I knew we'd be better than the so called experts rated us since both Kemba and Jefferson are underrated IMO.

I honestly think Cleveland would be a pretty good team if they had a competent coach that enforced some type of discipline. They have talent. Though during the preseason, one of our players did tell me that Cleveland would be trash this season so I guess I should have expected it.

Cleveland would be the same ragtag team with a discipline demanding coach like Byron Scott that they are with Mike Brown. I don't know if any coach could make them a winner the way they are currently contstructed. They've improved a bit with Brown from last year but the players are just wild cards. Kyrie is a arrogant prick that save energy for offense and he openly admitted it so his defense is lackluster. Waiters has been a malcontent for almost every team he's played for since high school. Bynum was a headcase. They have a bunch of young players and no leadership. Like I said Deng can't save them when they traded for him.

It means I'm going to buy a shiny new pair of shoes. I put down a bundle on the over with the Bobcats.
