MotownMadness wrote:There's no way your getting Monroe for just MKG. It would have to include the pick back or else there's no way. Monroe at center is a 16ppg 10rpg with 3.5 apg 23 year old big and you think we will trade that for MKG lol.
Glad this was squashed before it had a chance to become anything. We've got no interest in Monroe, as we've got a much better version on our team. I don't see any reason you'd want MKG either as he'd be a bad fit. Though he would probably be your third best player in terms of impact right now behind Drummond and Monroe.

Potential players on the block I want no part of:
Turner
Monroe
Josh Smith
Brandon Jennings
Iman Shumpert
Rudy Gay
Boozer
Randolph
Pau
Wallace
Nelson
Tyreke
Asik
Tayshaun Price

There are a lot more out there, but these are just some. I'll add more when I remember them.

"The Pelicans are what’s best described as value shoppers. They are open to trades involving core players like Eric Gordon or even Tyreke Evans – if they returned upgrades. That is a tough sell given what both players are making. The Pelicans look like they are going to trade guard Austin Rivers at the deadline, sources close to the situation believe there has been agreement in place all season to move him if playing time and opportunity did not become available." -HoopsHype

Not really interested in Evans, but I've definitely warmed up to Gordon. Hell, if he can be had for cheap I think Rivers could be a decent addition as well (shooting 36% from 3). Wonder if we've talked to NO.

Now Austin Rivers is the type of deal we need to make, that is what is in line with a no-risk move. You don't give up a lot for him, if he pans out good, if not he's on rookie contract that doesn't have to be extended.

Ha!!! Austin Rivers?!? The same Rivers that's still shooting sub-40% from the field, and is a combo guard that assist at a lower rate than the non-playmaking Jerome McKinley Henderson Jr.?!? Charlotte would be better off just signing Seth Curry and seeing how he pan out. It's a lesser risk on a player that might surprisingly and/or actually be a better NBA player

If the Pacers don’t address the Stephenson problem, there will be wolves with cap space lurking. The Lakers, Bulls and Bobcats will be among the teams who can and would offer an ample payday and increased opportunity for Stephenson this summer. - The Sporting News

I guess that's more of a FA rumor, oh well.

I would not trade any of our 1st round draft picks at all. I would trade BG and anyone else not named AL Jefferson, Kemba, or MKG.
I would be ok to rent Turner in a trade for BG. Why not? Salary still leaves either way right? Would prefer someone that can shoot from 3 though. :D

Possibly available for trade:

Mike Dunleavy JR
Francisco Garcia
Dorrell Wright
Jared Dudley
Reggie Bullock

Let's figure out how to get one of the above using less important assets like Ramon Sessions, Brendan Haywood, Jannaro Pargo, Jeff Adrien.

This is what I would prefer over just about anything. Stay the course with the team we currently have, and sign Lance Stephenson in the offseason.

Sounds like no risk on the surface but you assume he will sign here over another city. So there's a risk you do nothing to improve now only to not improve later either.
