Honestly, if D.J. White can still knock down that 15-20 ft midrange jump shot, it would be a solid acquisition for this improved Bobcats roster versus the ragtag 7-59 team that he occasionally started for 2 years ago

Okay, it's official. The whole FO needs to be burned to the ground.

Why would we put him back on the team when he did nothing for us two years ago? Seriously, Id rather just pick up D-League guys until 1 fits instead of getting this jackass. /facepalm

I'd rather us get Rick Flair than this guy. At least he would be mildly entertaining to watch his floppy tits run up and down the court

As a 15th man, why not? Its not like Charlotte is offering him a multiyear contract and they aren't bringing him in to rely on him. Just never bring Kevin Burelson back.

the play at 2:10 in that video is exactly why i consider white to be one of (if not the) worst big man defenders i have ever seen.
maybe if clifford can make jefferson look halfway decent on defense he can at least make white look poor, which would be a massive upgrade.

could do a lot worse for a 3rd string PF than a career 15 PER player, whats the big deal? yeah he sucks at defense, but if he didnt suck at something he'd be on a team already. anyone we pick up at this point is going to suck at something

He also sucks at running. I'd rather sign Antwan Jamison

Finally someone with a logical point of view on adding D.J. White as a 15th man. What more to expect from bench fodder? Starting material? All-Star caliber?

we're signing him because he has recently been on the team and knows the players and the front office is comfortable with him, he would be fine as our 3rd string PF he will barely play anyway he would be a good signing

As long as he's dirt cheap I'm fine with us getting him.

Yeah, I'd have preferred someone other than DJ, but it fits their approach; someone familiar and with experience versus taking a chance on a young "potential". I presume this is Clifford's call as much as Cho & company. Coach doesn't want to put much time into teaching at this point of the season.

I take it as Cho added smokescreens to his arsenal of moves. It has to be that, right?
