Win this game and maybe play Chicago or lose and play the struggling Pacers? Decisions decisions

Yeah, not like I could actually cheer for the team to lose.

Yeah, I just want the highest seed possible. We can come up with pros and cons for playing any of these guys:
Indiana: Pros - slumping; more neutral officiating Cons: Hibbert could shutdown Al
Chicago: Pros - No Rose or Deng Cons: Noah is anti-Al; play our style but better
Miami: Pros - No bigs to handle Al, our style better suited for playoffs Cons: Refs will hate us, LeBron

I don't know.. I still think that we can get the 6th seed and if we do we'll play Toronto.

With the schedule they have left I believe they can easily maintain the 3 seed.

wasup fellas. Wiz fan here. As has been discussed, I think both teams and fans want to win this game and get the 6th seed but also wouldnt at all be upset as of now of falling into the 7th seed so its almost like a win win situation. I see McRob is back for you guys tonight and Nene is going to try to play a few minutes off the bench. Should be interesting

If we get the 6th seed I'll be almost certain that we'll beat whoever we play between Toronto or Chicago because in order to get that 6th seed we'll have to play well finishing the season and riding that momentum I doubt either team is talented enough to beat us in 7 games.

LETS GO CATS

Possibly the biggest regular season game in franchise history.

Let's not get down 20 this time.

It's going to be almost a playoff game tonight. Both teams want that 6th seed to increase their chances of making the 2nd round. I know the Pacers are struggling but I wouldn't leave it to chance that they won't get it together somewhere in the middle of a 7 game series.

true but I also made the argument on the Wiz board about what are your real goals. Are your goals just to get to the playoffs, is it to win 1 round, or is it actually trying to get to the ECF. If you think you could get to the ECF then chances are you will have to see the Pacers in the 1st or 2nd round and if thats the case then the best chance to beat them is probably in round 1 because if you see them in round 2 then they will be way more confident coming off a series win and feel like they have righted the ship while also knowing they are one step away from a Heat series.

At the end of the day though, you have to go with the odds and the odds are the 6th seed is nearly always better and Indy has still been a more dominant team than the Bulls or Raps so you take your chances there. My prediction tonight is that it seems most likely Nene will be off the bench. Thats a 50/50 thing. Most Wiz fans think Nene is our 2nd best player but most of them also want him on the bench because they think we are better if Wall plays with a big who can stretch the floor to open up the lane for him. With that being said, our idiot coach replaces him with Booker who has even less range and does nothing nearly as good.

Basically Im saying that if we started Gooden or even Harrington (even though every other Wiz fan thinks he sucks) I think we would win and could give anyone fits but Im betting we will continue to start Booker and could lose to anyone or will be the same inconsistent team. I believe our coach is so backwards that he will be drooling over what a great masterful bench we could have with Dre, Web, Nene, & Gooden, instead of worrying about how to maximize the starting group while still fielding a good bench off of it

We are the Bobcats and I don't say that in a bad way but this franchise has yet to win a single playoff game in it's history. Making it out of the 1st round will be extremely celebratory. Our intent is to go as far as possible and I would hope the confidence we gain from winning a series could gather more momentum into the 2nd round.

As far as setting real goals, let's be real. Neither of our teams are championship contenders and it wouldn't be a major letdown no matter what round we lose in as long as we compete. I believe in a scenario where the Bobcats could reach the ECF but I wouldn't be utterly disappointed if not. I just want for us to shock the world and play above the expectations that the pundits place on us going into the playoffs. That would be my definition of setting a real goal and having playoff success from a Bobcats fan standpoint.

UConn (Kemba Walker) vs Kentucky (John Wall). Similarly, the oddsmakers & pundits thought that size & talent would prevail, but instead heart, clutch shots, & the one that make the least mistakes will

for me, the seeds dont really matter at this point, as long as miami doesnt end up 2nd. there is only one good thing that comes from playing miami and that is exposure. our games would be in tnt/tbs/abc instead of nbatv.

more than anything, i want us to have confidence and momentum and that comes with winning as much as possible.

also, nene has a history of playing well vs us. not really excited to see him back in the lineup.

NBATV shows playoff games? Thats lame as hell. Id have to upgrade my package just to watch the games.
