im going to the game and i would like to know if any of you guys are going as well we should create a chant like:

1.beat the heat
2.heat you suck
3.miami flopers

any ideas im pumped up for this saturday

chants would be great, although it will be hard to get them organized here, since a lot of the guys that post here aren't from charlotte. you would have a better chance using bringbackthebuzz on twitter.

one thing that will be important for bobcats fans during the home games is to drown on the heat fans. there will be a lot of loud obnoxious heat fans at the games trying to start chants. that absolutely cannot be allowed to happen on our home court in the playoffs.

i would refrain from using the word "sucks" during a chant at games.

anyone have any good ideas?

sadly i think there is going to be a lot of red jerseys in the stands and it will sound like the game is being played on a neutral court. i wonder if the bobcats will even attempt to put tshirts on the chairs. can you imagine if the cats put white shirts for everyone. those red heat jerseys will stand out like a sore thumb on tv.

what your saying could be right but some are expecting it to be a all bobcats crowd because Charlotte has been starved from good basketball in a while, for the refs u guys in Charlotte could do what we did here in Baltimore for the ravens with the bull chant (altho it could be "unclassy") http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZAoVxOTw-ME

48 straight minutes of "**** the refs" chanted by the entire crowd would be pleasing

Whatever it is it need to be a chant that put the pressure on the refs to call the game fair and I hope we're shooting good enough to outplay them.

i tried to create a chant in 2010 orlando sux and someone said no cause the kids i was like wtf this is the playoffs lol

I think this is VERY important. You need a loud crowd to put pressure on the refs so they 50/50 calls go your way.
That's where "home cooking" comes from. Charlotte could lose that advantage if the place fills up with Heat fans.

Its your job as a fan to boo every close call that goes against your team at a game.

You just need the right crowd. If we could get a wrestling crowd at the game all of these chants would be possible.

Toronto crowd chanting bull **** in game 1 was awesome! Wish that could happen here.

I too will be at game 3 for my first game in nearly 3 years

"beat the heat" is good because it rhymes. "beat the cheat" is even better because it both rhymes and is a really clever pun that tarnishes the way the heat came together as a team. i gotta say though that jackphillie's "elbow lebron" might just be the winner. too many great choices to pick from. i don't envy you guys...
