FFS he was 4-7 from the floor with five assists and only played 27 minutes. This is the **** playoffs and Kemba is the ultimate clutch player. Kemba should never be off the floor in the fourth quarter in the playoffs, he has earned the chance to try to pull off a miracle.

Pretty pissed off about that.

Kemba got hurt I believe. Not sure how serious it was, but he hobbled off.

I would feel the same way as you, but I think Kemba is injured, and I'm disappointed that the incompetent ESPN crew was so careless of the Bobcats to even report a update or acknowledge it

It's weird that Clifford is probably the best coach we've had but I really hate his coaching philosophy. Just no natural flow.

Cho inherited a crap sandwich and has gotten the worst team in league history into the playoffs in a couple of seasons. He now has a ton of cap space and an extra first rounder to make it even better. Sure not all of his draft picks have turned out great but the last 2-3 drafts haven't exactly been swimming with franchise players. How quickly people forget the clown show we had running things before he brought some non idiocy into the organization.

I like how most of us have been spelling Andersen wrong this whole series

Oh that makes more sense. I have to believe that's what is going on because it totally contradicts the character of this team to finish it out that way.

And agreed, that is total BS that we didn't get an update.

I love his philosophy, but hate his flexibility within it

He's been just Birdman to me over the past few years. That guy named Chris Andersen is buried under all of those tattoos

If Kemba is hurt and Al hurt, we might as well go insane the next game with Neal chucking for 50 (shots or points whatever comes first)

Cho isn't a good drafter (so far at least) but he is pretty good with FA signings and trading (even tho his latest masterpiece has backfired)

Lol is it really spelt Andersen? If so I feel like an **** for getting onto people for spelling Mullens "Mullins" wrong. Its almost as bad as people spelling JJ Redick JJ "Reddick"

New game...What would be the most entertaining lineup you'd like to see if we had to go without Al and Kemba for a game?

I'll vote Luke, CDR, MKG, Tolliver and McRoberts. One in four out with McRoberts directing traffic on the block.

Acquiring assets/relieving cap space and drafting shouldn't be mutually exclusive though? The Rockets were able to acquire assets and cap space while at the same time drafting Terrence Jones, Chandler Parsons, Jeremy Lamb, Marcus Morris and Patrick Patterson.

In the NFL GM's get killed for there draft mistakes and get outed in as short as a year but in the NBA it seems like guys get way more leeway than they should. Jeffrey Taylor out of Vandy was the only guy I applauded them for picking in the last like half decade, everything else has been more or less meh I guess I see why they picked him. I just find it weird that a team thats rebuilding has been taking on so many projects when its usually the good teams that have the talent to be able to take a gamble on projects.

BrotherDave wrote:That's why I ain't even really mad though. The Bobcat's have turned me into a bigger pessimist than the usual Knicks fan. I think we could have out tanked a couple of spots, or at the very least give us a decent chance of jumping somebody in the lottery (even though that has never, ever happened). I just hate Al got hurt, it would have been way more interesting to see if healthy Al could have gotten us a win or two.

I wanted them to tank originally, but I've been happy with how they've played and -- if given the chance -- I probably wouldn't go back and change things. At the same time, I'm not a fan of huge blow-up-the-team rebuilds as it is, because I think you can rebuild on the fly. We were arguably one of the worst teams of all-time during a couple of those hardcore rebuilding seasons, and it still didn't get us anything. I'd much rather take the old Hornets approach to things and build a consistently good team, even if it's not necessarily a championship contender year in and year out. Build a team that can consistently make the playoffs and then keep looking for constant opportunities to tweak things and continue to get better.

Even though the team we currently have probably isn't as good as most would have liked given the abyss this organization went through for a few years in order to rebuild, I think it's constructed well enough now that we should be able to make continual adjustments and keep getting better. We have some cap room, we have some future draft picks, we have a decent age spread -- not too old, not too young -- we just have to build on that.

Go with a lineup that has no ability to score.

Ridnour, Henderson, MKG, Zeller, Biyombo

That would be terrible.

50 shots would come first.

we need to fire Rod Higgins in the offseason, his dumbness is probably having an impact on Cho's braincells

Either way this is my last time on the Bobcats board for the year probably but if I were you guys I'd pray for a guy like James Young in the draft or targeting a shooter like Jodie Meeks and hoping MKGs handle gets stronger so he can atleast get his easier than relying on well timed cuts. His jumper is a few years off, good luck with everything next year.Aside from the refs bull and the mcbob foul its been a fun series.
