I think this is a pretty good idea as long as no one gets their feelings hurt for whatever reason. We need some ideas for categories though other than the obvious ones.

Id go with Lamar being poster of the year with JDR being funniest poster of the year by far. BD is up there, though.

Id also give Amcoolio a lot of consideration over the making of all the playoff sigs. I may change my vote to him after all he did in that ordeal. That was pretty neat.

poster of the year: lamarmatic7 and mrknowitall215
- both guys have been terrific this year in terms of activity and basketball insight. i always look forward to reading their posts, especially the more detailed basketball posts. slight nod goes to lamar for not moonlighting as a sixers fan. i love the fact that mrknowitall is always posting links to articles. this is something i have been wanting for many years, a poster who is great at finding every little mention of our team and posting in the correct forums. i hate when i go to other forums and see links to articles that i did not see on our board.

best newcomer (registered in last 12 months): JDR720
- hard to argue with this one. JDR has been one of the most consistent and active posters since he signed up in july. rookie of the year by a mile.

funniest poster: sachmo, bigslam, liver_pooty, brotherdave, JDR720
- this is a tough category. we have so many funny posters. most of the truly hilarious stuff is buried in the game thread. funniest post of the year goes to brotherdave for this bandwagon logos and sig.

- these guys have been constants in the game threads all season, except for slams month long vacation . honorable mention goes to all of the foreign guys who stay up late and wake up early to watch games on awful streams. you guys are truly superfans.

Exactly. We would never have marital issues like I would have with KIA.

We have a pretty awesome community here. Lots of very knowledgable guys and we know more about our team than 99% of the media, so thats pretty cool. And its not boring. I wake up and immediately read you guys every morning, first thing I do. Sorry I haven't been more active this season, I was able to watch almost every game in my restaurant but its been too busy to post in teh gamethreads.

Mr. KIA was on a tear this year. Definitely spent more time posting here than anything else he does . Fats is right about needing a poster like this. He gets my vote for next mod should someone retire (hopefully not).

We are definitely lucky to have a guy like Lamar here. He's our Al Jefferson, we can't trade him to another board, hes about as untouchable as it gets.

Liver_Pooty and I agree on almost everything so he's clearly one of the best. He's also been super active as well.

JDR720, who I'm pretty sure isn't a newcomer, has been eternally optimistic. Also welcome to see.

Then we have the guys who are always ready to go to war. KembaWalker, Stun_704, Biz Gilwalker. We need more enforcers like these to shut opposing fans up haha.

Lucky to have such great mods. Fats is a grandfather of the internet in terms of Charlotte basketball, I remember talking with him when I was 12 and 13 years old before I knew what RealGM was. Now im 26 . Time flies way too quickly. Slam and Sachmo have a ton of dedication. Really none of the Bobcats posters are problems on this board. Except for that one guy who made threats over PM, can't remember if that was this past year though.

Guys who need to come back but are probably lost in translation: Walt Cronkite and Paydro (whatever happened to these two anyway?) Rich4114 (I know he was a Felton/UNC guy but he still followed for a little while after Felton left) Bowens, therebirth, August Us Seazr, e4Nf6, DaBassSource, Battery (quit on the team I think), Dexmor (same), Jaruff

I be a busy man honestly. The majority of the time I'm posting I be at work, where I get my most down time. Outside of that, I'm either at the gym, at a basketball game, partying, or spending quality time with a female companion. It's always easy for me to post though because at work my desk is bombarded with 3 desktop computers, then I have a iPad that travels with me wherever I go, and at home I have a few laptops. Always being accessible to a computer with internet access makes it difficult not to post on demand here
