If he does get hired by the Wolves ( or any team really) i feel bad for them having to watch his interviews

at the thought of Ewing being a head coach. His whole posture be f*cked up. Lol. I would like to see it because it'll be entertaining to watch him sitting lethargically on the sidelines and to hear his interviews. Lol

Hope someone hires him. He deserves it.

If he does get hired somewhere, who would you want us to get on the coaching staff as his replacement?

He'll motivate the players by buying lap dances at the Gold Club after victories. If the Pacers fire Vogel, they should hire Ewing ASAP for this reason alone.

why does he deserve it? just because he has been an assistant for a long time?

I'm not a big Ewing fan, but it would be a blow if CHA loses him and Beyer both this summer.

steve martin was on the radio last week here in charlotte. the topic of ewing as a head coach came up. they asked martin if he thought ewing would ever get a head coach job and martin said no. he went on to talk about how he would be very happy for ewing if he did, but that there is also nothing wrong with being a top assistant and some people are just better suited to be an assistant. consider that martin spends a ton of time with the team and even travels with the team and martin has been around the league for 30 years.

I just don't think Ewing's demeanor would allow me to foresee him as a good head coach. He look like he's half drunk or suffering from bad allergies all of the time

Flip Saunders has stated that we are looking for someone with head coaching experience.
Also, this article is a month old, and Patrick's name hasn't been brought up once by media in the know here.
Not happening.

Yep, he's put in the time for a decade, clearly working hard for this goal. Meanwhile we see guys like Mark Jackson, Steve Kerr, Jason Kidd and potentially Derek Fisher not put any work into it and just get the job handed to them. That's not right.
