Stauskas.
He's #6 on my board.
I worry about Danny Ainge.
Thank God either Randle or Vonleh or Aaron Gordon will be there and the Celtics are weak in their front court.
I don't worry about LAL at all. He's not a high flight athlete they can brand in Hollywood.
SAC just drafted McLemore and they also desperately need a PF and there's a surplus.

Stauskas, though his defense is seriously lacking. But I'll take scoring over defense at this point. The Hornets need scoring.

I want to say Stauskas but I've got to go with the guy that has the most two way potential - Lavine.

Da Stauskanator!
If we get this kid, slam's gotta start working on some nicknames!
You guys, probably already know this, I didn't, but evidently his nickname in college is "tube" for all the youtube videos he's done of himself shooting 3's.

Stauskas. Close between he and McDermott, but Stauskas gets my vote.

In it for McDermott. Id put Stauskas 9th with Gordon 10th.
Gordon could rise exponentially depending on his workouts. He is a dark horse for our pick.

This. I really want LaVine.

For as much upside as he has, he has as much or more bust potential. He is either going to be a Gerald Green that Boston drafted or a better Derozan with a 3 point shot, which is a hell of a player. There is no in between with him. Massive, massive risk.

Green had no skill though. He was 100% athleticism. LaVine is a 2-guard with PG abilities. Yes, he's a bit of a risk, but he's got an incredible ceiling.

Superstar ceiling for sure, but im still terrified. This particular pick could make or break us. We already have enough projects as it is in MKG and Biyombo.

I went Stauskas, but honestly would be happy with McD or Young as well. Crapshoot. I know that many of us are anti-Gordon as he's seemingly a chitty fit, but I wouldn't mind him as BPA. I could also see Smart or Randle dropping, neither of which I'm in love with, but both of which would make for intriguing trade possibilities. Lavine is one of the biggest question marks in the draft, has massive bust potential, and has far too much austin rivers going on for me.
Happy to see we are a consolidated front when it comes to Gary Harris.

I've gotten more scared of LaVine the more I look at him. For a guy being marketed as a big point guard, he's not a great decision-maker. Seems like he doesn't pass the 'can he play basketball?' test that Stauskas just obliterates.
Gordon's right in the middle, though, great athlete, decent basketball player. I'd be fine with taking him over Stauskas.

Curious as to who voted for Saric. I have zero opinion on the guy, but doesn't the "I'm going, I'm staying, I'm going, I'm staying" and "I'll come over if I'm drafted by the Celtics or Lakers" thing kind of scare you?

I went Doug McDermott at the #8. I don't think he is Adam Morrison 2.0. I hope he is there at the 9 and I would rather us resign CDR, while giving him an increased role with the green light to challenge Gerald for the starting job. I know McDermott's defense is bad, but it isn't like McBob is a top defender. Ive watched some game tape of McDermott and he has a lot of moves and the quick release. He does seem very slow, but Paul Pierce isn't exactly the fastest guy either.

I think this is where it gets interesting, since I believe after the top seven it drops off a little.
I'm going with LaVine. I would be fine with McDermott or Stauskas, but I would rather swing for the fences with LaVine.
