If Houston wants Melo or Lebron, how do we get Parsons

Post#1 » by Sonrisen » Thu Jun 26, 2014 4:25 am

The love for MKG is strong here, but he is so offensively challenged, the opportunity to get Parsons should be aggressively pursued, if the Rockets are trying to get Melo or Lebron, which it looks like they are. What would it take to make CP the Hornets new starting sf?

Sign him Day 1. Since he's a RFA, his cap hold would become our offer and they would waive his rights if they are serious about Melo and/or LeBron.

If Parsons is interested in a team, that team needs to make an offer and make Parsons sign ASAP.

Ah, okay, thanks guys. I'm a huge fan of his and this team is in desperate need of a legit 3rd scorer, which CP is.

Yeah I agree with you that Parsons would be a great fit here, but I hope you're not saying this at the expense of MKG. I see Parsons as the Swiss Army Knife off the bench who could play both the 3 and 4 but in starter minutes.

Parsons would start from day one. Can't bring a SF that averages 16,5,5 off the bench, especially at what hes going to get paid.

I don't even really want him to be honest. Only reason I would want him is because my woman would watch more games since hes freaking handsome as hell, and she may even start liking basketball.

UGH. You're love for mediocrity is unnerving. You probably thought Be Arthur was the "hot" Golden Girl.

Cho's inability to draft players that have a modicum of offensive ability other than Kemba is upsetting. I love defense, but at the end of the day, the team that scores more points than its opponent wins the game.

Sonrisen it is useless to attempt to upgrade the SF position.

Sign Parsons? Parsons comes off the bench.

Draft McDermott? MKG moves to SG or McDermott plays minutes at PF

Sign Melo? MKG stays at SF, Melo moves to PF.

Sign Lebron James? Play him at PF. MKG stays at SF

Such is life once you set foot in the MKG love dome.

Good luck.
