ESPN 2014 Franchise Rankings: Hornets 29th

Post#1 » by amcoolio » Thu Sep 18, 2014 11:50 pm

HUGE leap by the Charlotte NBA franchise. If you kept up with these, Charlotte couldn't get into the top 100. Now all the way up to 29?

Panthers have nearly always been top 50, they come in at 26. Things are pretty solid right now for the Carolinas in terms of pro sports.

The Knicks come in at 121/122, and the Maple Leafs dead last.

Haha, same here. I thought there was no way so see the unjustified hate continue. I am pleasantly surprised by this.

This is really surprising to me too. The media perception of our franchise has done a complete 180 in the last year. Most of the talking heads are just mindless echo chambers though, so it doesn't take much for them to completely change their viewpoints. Nonetheless, I'll take it.

29 is very good for us. Next year I estimate that we'll be placed at the Top 25.

as an Angeleno they seemed awful hard on the Dodgers and the Lakers to a lesser degree, nonetheless I'm thrilled to see the Charlotte teams getting some respect
