Get ready for an #MJtakeover! The Hornets return to the court in Buzz City on Wednesday, Oct. 29 and the swarm continues to build here in Charlotte leading up to tipoff. But none of this could have happened without the overwhelming support of you – our fans! You spoke and we listened.
Now, as a way of saying thanks to you and expressing his excitement for Opening Night, Chairman Michael Jordan will be taking over all of our Hornets social media accounts on Tuesday, Oct. 28, giving our fans unprecedented access behind the scenes with our owner. I hope the Hornets win big on opening night so we get at least one instance of drunk-tweeting from the GOAT.
It's going to be really cool to have MJ as a big part of the comeback festivities. I like his policy of not being a "dog and pony show" but stepping in to add a little mystique to key opportunities like courting Lance and opening night of the rebrand. It's a nice perk most small market teams won't ever have at their disposal.

I saw an ad on ESPN.com that said they will be doing a one-on-one interview with Jordan tomorrow on the SportsCenter right after Monday Night Football.
