HornetCats Get:
Rondo
Green
The white guy with long hair

Celtics Get:
Walker
Zeller (Celts end up with both... gotta catch'em all!)
Vonleh
2015 First
Rights to swap 2018 first.
Cash wise this probably could not be done until the post season when Walkers contract changes and i believe a resigning or two would have to happen, but whatever. Its fantasy right?

Does Rondo suddenly turn into Magic Johnson and Green turn into Charles Barkley during this trade?

So we are aware that Rondo if healthy is in that group of 3 or 4 PGs who can be labeled the best in the game right now right?
Are we also aware of what Green's abilities are? A stretch 4, B defense, 17/6 regularly. will go off for 25+ every three or four games, etc.
Both players fairly young and entering the beginning of the primes of their careers. Both with playoff experience, one with a title, etc.

Can we overvalue HornCats players any more then we already are? If one of the best PGs in the game and a good role playing 4 are not good enough for a 4th tier PG and two completely unproven players, then what exactly would you expect in return? How unrealistic do you want the trade to be?

No other PG in the league, besides Rubio, is a worse fit for this team than Rondo. Besides, we're not going to trade our future away for a guy who might not even resign here. It's a bad trade and makes zero sense for our team.

Rondo would be great to have but would he re-sign here?

Lol to be honest both can shoot better than Walker and facilitate better so why not?

Kemba's biggest issue is his inconsistent shooting. Our biggest need is shooting. Let's replace him with one of the worst shooting PGs in the NBA! That should help!

Let's be honest both are worse shooters but Rondo is better at lay ups. Those two make Kemba look like Curry.

Maybe it's just me but putting Kemba in the trade thread seems like an act of futility, especially now that the front office rubber stamped his imprint on the franchise. They love him. Yes he's in a slump but he works harder than anyone and his coachability factor is extremely high. Cho outright said "We know he's going to get better". So take it to the bank.

Lakers trade Ed Davis for PJ Hairston?

Nah, Ed Davis is on a one-year deal with no bird rights. That's a rental for a very ordinary player. Either way, I think we've got enough fringe talent in the front court as it is.

Trade ideas to make offense better

Trade #1

Bismack for Gerald Green straight up

Why for us: Get offense
Why for PHX: Get a backup big that can run with them and defend

Trade #2

Gerald + Neal + MIA 2nd for Kevin Martin and Ronny Turiaf
Why for us: Clears SG logjam and Ronny >>> Maxiell
Why for them: shorter contracts and help the tank?

Charlotte roster

Kemba/Roberts/Pargo
Lance/Martin/PJ
MKG/Green
Williams/Zeller/Vonleh
Al/Turiaf/Maxiell

I do hope we trade Biz so he can get to a coach that knows how to use him effectively.

Would anyone be interested in upgrading PF/C by trading for Jared Sullinger at the deadline?

Trade him to the Sixers for a plethora of 2nd round picks. He would be great alongside & behind Nerlens Noel and Joel Embiid

I would like to have him, but since he is young and pretty good we would have to take Wallaces contract probably

Cody + Henderson for Wallace + Sullinger works.

The Celtics would probably ask for our 1st rounder on top of it.

Cody + Biz + Neal also works for Wallace + Sullinger.
