Such a pleasure to watch Al play with someone who loves him as much as I do. Vorbis and I were raving about him all night (while also commenting on his sh*tty P&R defense).

= Kemba
He didn't really stand out - but that was a good thing. He played within the game and himself while picking and choosing his spots. Obviously super efficient tonight.

Played so well. Got junk points and boards but also hit some smooth mid range J's. Good to see him attacking the rack under control as well. Great all round game.


HM: Vorbis - For insisting I keep an eye out on the door back from the bathrooms at the bar to see the smoke show in the very little clothes and the very hard nipples return to her table.

jefferson - consistency on his jumper provided a nice fat stack of points. he scored more than he yielded on defense tonight.

zeller - hustling and rebounding prolonged a nice string of offensive rebounds in the first half. allowed the team to stagger a bit and keep the game in hand. they had a rough patch in the 1st half for the 5th straight game but were able to overcome it in part because zeller hit on jumpshots and provided rebounds for the second unit.

kemba - very efficient scoring tonight, which is always welcome. i just don't think you should expect this kind of game out of him night after night. it is very encouraging to see him break it out when necessary.

honorable mention to hairston. knocking on the door of the 2nd unit at this point. his attitude is a great extension of some of the intensity in the starting lineup. makes the team much tougher to play against (this would especially apply in the playoffs)

also to lance for tough rebounding and providing the first of many enjoyable wade/lance mudfights this season. this is maybe going to be my favorite all-time charlotte divisional position matchup. even more fun than shaq/zo. those guys are like a bickering married couple sometimes. symbiotically sons of bitches.

HM - Hairston.

We need that unconscious shooter that will either get us buckets or defensive attention away from our other players. Usually this means, there is sacrifice on the defensive end, but that's okay, because we are like 80% defense. We can take a hit in that area. But we need that shooter/gunner to take over a solid portion of the offense. Neal, Hairston, Taylor - all players I could see being that good at shooting to assume that role.
