Relevant news: MKG is out. That is all you need to know. Hornets have proven time and time again they can win without anyone... except MKG.

Prediction: Pacers 92 Hornets 82.

In honor of my favorite show ever, Spartacus, returning to Netflix last week (seriously, if you haven't watched it yet, what are you waiting for?). I give you Mira (Katrina Law).

Hopes for this game...
1) Start Jeff Taylor at small forward. Neal's role needs to stay as limited as possible right now.
2) Give Elliot Williams a small run of minutes in the 2nd quarter. Its time to see what he can do. If he plays well, give him some minutes from Neal, Taylor or Lance, even Roberts. None of those guys should have guaranteed minutes right now.

I know Clifford wants to stick with his 9-man rotation, but he has to play around with the guards-wings until he finds some offense. Now is not the time to ignore potential options.

After the way the season started, going into the break at 25-27 would have great. Going in now at 22-30 is going to suck. Pretty much means anything beyond a 7 seed is highly unlikely.

We need a major bounce back game. These three games should have been an easy sweep even without Kemba, but no MKG makes it really tough. Luckily, the Pacers and Pistons are shallow on the wings.

This is going to be a fun game for me to nitpick from. Hopefully the Hornets can bounce back from that loss to the Sixers because they can't afford to lose any ground in the playoff race without Kemba & MKG

I made a conscious choice last game to stick with it and try watching a game with the confidence that we were going to find a way to win. Once MKG went down I couldn't force myself to do that. We can not win this game unless two of Neal, Lance and Roberts score efficiently.

Down our two best players will make the next two games very rough.

What an amazing day.

11AM: Wake up
11AM - 1PM: Watch Man U vs West Ham - 1-1 tie, would have been better if West Ham hung on for win.
1:30PM - 3PM: Disc golf with the nephews
4PM - 6PM: US Soccer vs Panama
6PM - 9PM: Hornets game
9PM - 10PM: Walking Dead mid season premier
10PM - 11PM: Better Call Saul series premier
11PM - 1AM: Dragon Age Inquisition
1AM - Bedtime

I am wearing my Al Jefferson t-shirt today as well. (yes, I actually own an Al Jefferson shirt - it was a gift). He better not ruin my day.

Roberts done bricked his arms off shooting and now his shoulder hurt.

Watching Larry Steal tonight should be fun for laughter purposes. Still hoping we find a way to pull it out. Big Al should be ashamed of himself he can't carry us to victory.

I got some cheap tickets so this is my first Hornets game of the season. Am I going to be subjected to 48 minutes of Gary Neal at point?

Glad to see JT starting. He may be awful, but at least Cliff is doing something other than sticking with the same Larry Steal disaster.

side note - lots of SQL errors from realgm today. super.

This site is basically unaccessible for me today. I'm not IT savvy enough to understand what's going on, but super annoying.

This injury situation is insane.

The Hornets production crew immediately comes out of the Dean Smith tribute to a live shot of a kid wearing a Duke shirt.
