Interesting. It appears Daniels may have a trade restriction, so this may not be official until the 18th.

What are the odds that we even keep Daniels? Honestly I'm confused by his inclusion in this deal.

FOH Neal. Yes! MoWill! The backup PG I wanted from the beginning. Roberts gonna be 3rd stringing in a month.

Don't really like it. If Kemba, Biz and MKG are all out for some period I don't think we make the playoffs anyway. Would have been better to just keep the 2nd round pick.

At least Gary Neal is gone though. Clifford is no doubt crying crocodile tears as I type this.

Figure the Hornets need to get the fanbae excited about b2b playoff appearances, realistically, it will affect our draft position by about 4-6 spots.

Are you serious? We sold our second for cash this last draft. I'd rather cycle through NBDL players with an open roster spot next season if it means we get to switch Neal for Mo.

I wonder if that 2019 is the same 2019 as in the Miami pick delivered in the Shabazz Napier trade.

If so, then Napier was traded for PJ Hairston + Mo Williams half-year rental + the cash considerations + cash received from the other 2nd rounder in that deal.

man im happy to see gary neal go....damn he has been awful. I really dont see how you can hate this deal we didnt give up much but a player that wasnt playing well anyway for a competent PG and a shooter

I might be alone in this but I will be happier to see Mo Williams oust Brian Roberts than you are about seeing Gary Neal gone.

Welp. Frankly he's wrong on this one. They can trade him by himself, just not with another player. That said I doubt they get any good offers just for Neal, so a buyout may be the end result.
