Clifford ruined my weekend, let's see what he can do to get my work week started off on the wrong foot.

We will probably get bullied down low by Vucevic (30 and 15 style), but hopefully we can make up for it with Mo Williams abusing Payton

off-topic - does anyone remember the game Steve talked about the other night at Boston? a rookie Ricky Davis and Brad Miller going for 32 each on the last day of the season vs. Boston? any memories about it?

I think I used to have a copy of the game, can't seem to find it at the given moment.

The last game of the 98-99 season. I know I likely watched the game but I cannot remember much about it.

Yeah, I narrowed it down as far as checking out the boxscore and all. Like I said, I think I used to have a copy of it.

Gotcha. Perhaps, some of the other older heads will remember something.

I remember that one. It was a double or triple OT game at the end of the lockout shortened season. In addition to Walker and Pierce, that Celtics team also featured Ron Mercer, who everyone had big expectations for, and the "Ukraine Train" Vitaly Potapenko.

Brad Miller was not only a Rookie but an undrafted rookie too if I recall. Just another example of Bob Bass being a genius at finding unheralded talent. They lost him to a big contract to Chicago.

Incidentally, Chicago also signed away Eddie Robinson from us a couple years later for 36 mil, which they regretted since he wasnt cut out for a feature role. Robinson was another undrafted guy that Bass plucked out of nowhere; a Darius Miles type freak athlete SF with no three ball but an automatic mid range jumper. The Eddie Robinson / Ricky Davis bench tandem had some cheesy nickname from uncle Steve and Gil (High Voltage, I think), but worked well together at times.

Great memory, dmutombo! yeah, it was a 2OT game and I don't know why I didn't initially post the boxscore, here it is:
http://www.basketball-reference.com/box ... 50BOS.html

My favorite notable players from the game, the more obscure ones in this case, - Corey Beck, a young Bruce Bowen (6 fouls in 14 minutes) and Michigan's Eric Riley, one of the older players who got his shine stolen by the Fab Five.

I like Bob Bass just for the fact that he was an ABA person. He was successful in the early days of the San Antonio franchise as well.

It was right around exam time freshman year so I would doubt I paid full attention to the game. Loved watching Miller while we had him.

Looking forward to seeing how this team can screw my night up again.

Unless we are up at least 20, I plan on DVRing the 4th quarter and only watching it if we don't get Clifforded out of a victory.

I remember Dana Barros used to inexplicably kick our ass a lot.

Too much pussy with the CIAA's going on to care about a weight training session.
Oh wait, we're in Orlando.

Ha, didn't even think about CIAA. I bet there a few folks that wish they were in town for that, lots of party appearance opportunities.

Yea I was planning to go but backed out at the last minute before making reservations because I needed that money to buy a new car.
