Wish we could see Jefferson like that now -- even when he was playing well, I don't remember him looking that in shape.

I'll be playing close attention, since half of Utah's players will end up here somehow anyway.

Quin Snyder, who I wanted us to hire on two separate occasions has done a great job with that club. if only they had any kind of guard play they'd be dangerous

Will be fun to see Hayward in action. We'd probably be in the hunt for the 4/5 seed if Utah hadn't matched.

I have to stay home with a sick kid tomorrow. I think I need to reward my hard work by staying up and watching this game tonight

Hood is healthy again and playing well, and per vantage sports, Exum has had the 4th best Keep-In-Front % among guards this past month. Exum is 11/22 from 3PT the last 5 games. So they are playing good, even if it's a small sample size.

I, honestly, like Joe Ingles. It might be moreso because he's getting bigger minutes than expected, has a skillful Euro game (yes, I know he's from Australia) and is somewhat of a quirky and rare player at his position (in a sense that most wings in today's league are 6'7 monsters with freakish wingspans and hops) so for all I know if I actually had to root for him I possibly wouldn't enjoy the Joe Ingles experience as much. But, either way, he has a cool skillset that I enjoy watching.

At 6'8" Ingles is a great height for either SG/SF, and I think most Jazz fans have been happy with him. He really plays like a veteran because of his age and overseas pro experience, despite being a rookie in the NBA. He doesn't look athletic, but at times he surprises you. Hood has taken the starting nod, because he's MUCH better offensively, and defensively I don't think we miss anything, he's done a good job so far.

There are a number of interesting matchups in this game that I'm looking forward to seeing.
(1) Exum vs. Mo - defensively inclined, offensively limited rookie PG against offensively inclined, defensively limited vet PG. Hopefully Mo gets the best of this matchup. Will be interesting to see how much PT Kemba gets. Could he get the start?
(2) Gobert vs. Biz - elite defender and rebounder plays mini version of himself. Biz better bring the motor and awareness. Subplot - if Biz has to help Marv on Favors in the post, we may get to see a little MKG - Gobert action.
(3) Favors vs. Marv - yikes. Hopefully Favors sticks to the high post game, because that is not a favorable matchup on defense. Hopefully Marv continues his nice outside shooting streak.
(4) MKG vs. Hayward - MKG gets an opportunity to bolster his reputation as an elite defender. He's going to have some issues getting his drives to the basket with Gobert hanging around though.
(5) Hendo vs. Hood - a little Duke on Duke fight. Hendo's physicality on offense should hopefully bother Hood. On D Hendo needs to stay home, Hood has been decent from outside lately.

Our current team vs our future players. If Cho is still the Hornets GM for years to come don't be surprised if Hayward, Exum, Burke, Gobert, Favors, Millsap brother, or whoever on the Jazz roster are in a Charlotte uniform at first chance. Lol. Just kidding Yosemiteben. Don't take this post too serious.
