Richards with 17 and 21 the last 2 bubble games. I'm rooting for him to get some minutes with the Hornets now the Swarm are done

I like Richards' athleticism and relative coordination for a dude his size. He has good instincts around the rim and has a pretty darn good stroke from the arc. Surprised by that. He has limited skill on the block (he'll get killed inside by a real NBA center) and lacks the footwork to beat his man off the dribble. But the raw material is there.

I've been able to watch some of these games on ESPN+ (not so fortunate with the big club). To me, Richards stands out on the defensive end, but just complimentary offensively. The opposite is with Carey, who almost scores at will, but just has no clue defensively.

I can see Richards in the rotation by season's end, but at least the better of the two young centers if Zeller or Biz gets hurt.

I’m watching via the G League app, which redirects to a live YouTube stream.

Vern looks to shoot too much.
Thor looks like a future small ball 5 (he’s looking pretty good).
Arnie looks the goods.
Carton threw down a nasty dunk in the 2nd qtr. still a score first PG.
Lewis playing with hustle and energy but not really impacting the game.
Gelo looks ordinary.

Crutcher (for us) having a very nice PG game getting teammates good and open looks.

Unfortunately we’re letting Harper (them) kill us and our rim protection sucks (sound familiar?).

Saw Gelo scored well.

Saw Gelo scored well.

He did next to nothing in the 1st half then had a nice little purple patch in the 3rd where he put up some points in a hurry.

Still doesn’t look very good to me. He’s so un-athletic and one dimensional.

Gelo looks like an old man at the local Y running up and down the floor, its a shame because he is really a great shooter, but has no other NBA skill

Thor would probably be our best rebounder, give him the Richards minutes

gelo needs to embrace the Jackie Moon persona

knee sleeves, wrist bands, goggles, tiger balm sponsorship

Thor looks crazy talented for barely 19
could see him taking PJs small ball 5 job versus paying PJ when that time comes

Happy to see Thor showing some signs of life. He looked a little more impressive than Kai in Summer league.

It might have become impossible for you to post without somehow working in taking a shot at the roster in some way or another!!

We might have to have an intervention.

I like Arnie.

He over commits at times and makes some silly mistakes/turnovers, but there’s a lot to like there.

A full year of experience with the Swarm this year and he might be ready to play meaningful mins with the Hornets next season.

I’ve been as hopeful as anyone when it comes to Big Vern, but he has not looked good these two games.
