Trivia time...guess how many bigs have had seasons satisfying this criteria since the 2000-01 season?

Spoiler:
12 - only been done 16 times over that period. link (ignore 17-23, they do not meet the FG% criteria). Only been done 6 times by someone attempting more than 2 threes per game

Interesting. It doesn't feel out of reach at all. The 15/6 part might be a bit difficult next season since I assume he'll still be coming off the bench (for lineup reasons, I think hes already probably better than Marv) and won't quite get the minutes, but what I posted doesn't seem like an unreasonable ceiling at all. I could even see his 3pt% going a little higher and maybe even his ppg. A more reasonable expectation for next season might be something like... 28mpg - 13.5/5.5/2.5 on 44/35/77 splits.

Its really easy to imagine him putting up really nice all around stats. He basically just needs to start hitting shots more consistently and improve some all around on defense/rebounding and he could be an elite glue guy.

Thing is, that stat line is definitely not out of reach for Frank in the near future, assuming he gets those consistency issues worked out.

I'd be happy with a 13/5/2.5 on 43/35/76 from Frank for next year... something to build on

Frank has been a top ~ 15 center since moving there, perhaps slightly higher considering the 4/5 versatility. The concern will always be weak positional rebounding but his team leading DefRtg during the same period is encouraging.

Which is to say FK's expected ceiling has been raised considerably, IMO. Maintaining, regressing, or continuing to improve is the question but top 5 offensive C is certainly within reach.

And IMO, his true potential lies in Playoff matchups.

I don't recall if I posted the link back at the time it happened (I may have). But yeah, a Hornets employee who seemed like a young guy proud of his Hornets status foolishly posted a picture of his Hornets ID badge (removed after redditors warned him to take it off) and went on to do a Q&A of Hornets stuff behind the scenes. One question just happened to be about who the A-hole in the team was and Frank was the answer. It wasn't the focus of the thread, just one question in the several that he answered. On the other end of the spectrum, he said Kemba was one of the nicest, I think.

You have a link to that reddit thread? I'd be curious to read the other answers.

As for Frank being an A-hole, meh, might be true, might not. It wouldn't surprise me. The Hornets could use a few more A-holes on the team. I've seen church leagues teams that are more intimidating than the Hornets current team.

Kaminsky on the season shot 40% from the field and .328 from three, with 4.5 rebounds and .5 blocks in 26 minutes.

Sounds like a candidate for the D-league.

I don't have the link to the original discussion, though I believe I may have posted it in this forum long ago, at the time that it happened. The original Q&A session was in a reddit thread in /r/nba in the latter half of the of the season with JLin.

He has since resurfaced with a different username, unconnected to his previous one that was linked to personally identifiable info and comment history. And this time he smartly blurred out his face in the picture of his Hornets ID presented as proof, unlike the first time around where he didn't do enough to obscure his face. He did a second AMA six months ago. Here is the link to his second AMA, done under a new username.

https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/59k6bw/im_a_current_nba_ball_boy_ama_with_proof/

In it, he references the first original AMA under his old username and says he deleted it after getting spooked. Other redditors recall the original. Here is the exchange.

Yes that was me. I didn't get in trouble, I deleted it because I got spooked.

It was in the first original AMA that he talked about Frank being an a-hole (other redditors chimed in and said they knew Frank from high school and he was an A-hole back then, too). Then this Hornets employee got spooked when people warned he might get fired by the Hornets for saying that, especially since he didn't do a good job of obscuring his identity under his old username. It is too bad he deleted it, since he answered a ton of questions the first time around (the Frank stuff was just a tiny tidbit in the sea of questions).

He also answers a number of questions in this second AMA, so it may be informative.

I was thinking this was something new. Now that you mention it was last year, seems familiar.

Sorry, I wasted too much of my life watching this guy attempt to play NBA basketball the past two seasons. He's a sight better than P. J. Hairston, though.

Do you ever have anything to add to this forum other than trashing Frank or Clifford? You've been warned several times about your posting behavior, yet nothing changes.

Consider this a last warning. Future posts like this - no content other than just bashing - will result in a us asking for board ban.
