Re: Charlotte Hornets Big Board #4
Before this season wasn't Mudiay the projected #1 overall prospect?

Yes he was and I think he is just behind Russell in terms of top prospects in this draft.

Re: Charlotte Hornets Big Board #4
Mudiay is like John Wall to me, very athletic PG that isn't a good shooter but can pass. Hezonja is like Joe Johnson, big scoring SG that can drain threes.
Narrowly went Hezonja

Re: Charlotte Hornets Big Board #4
Hezonja is basically JR Smith talent level wise. Great dunker, great contested jump shooter, all the tools to be successful, and the ego to be the guy. People forget how good JR Smith could of been if he would of developed earlier and had a better head on his shoulders.
Mudiay is going to be a great player in this league as well, but he is more a rebuild addition in my mind versus an addition to take you to the next level. It usually takes pgs a few years to figure it out in the league and couple that with having Kemba and I think Mudiay slides to 5 or 6 on my big board, which is still very high.

I'd probably say Mudiay is the better talent, but I went with Mario for the better fit

Went with Mudiay just because of what people thought of him out of high school compared to the other talent. Really not much else out there on him.
Just going on that he probably has more upside than the others left. I did struggle between him and a couple other players.

yeah I went with Mudiay, in the hope he can develop into something special.
let him start out as backup pg and see how he goes.

I'm going with Hezonja till he's off the board. Should've gone ahead of Okafor, but he definitely fits us better than Mudiay too.
investigate Adam Silver

Went with WCS.

Seems like half of the votes are going to the Hornets needs rather than the best player available

Youre that confident in someone playing from China?

Re: Charlotte Hornets Big Board #4
I'll break the tie. Emmanuel Mudiay in my opinion is a clear-cut better player than Mario Hezonja. I expect Mudiay to be a All-Star caliber point guard in the NBA. I think the worst case scenario for Mudiay is borderline All-Star point guard whereas I don't know what to expect out of Hezonja, but my gut feeling tell me that he'll wash out of the NBA within 5-10 years (i.e. Rudy Fernandez, Sergio Rodriguez, Jan Vesely, etc), and will decide to return to the international ranks where he'll preferably be treated like a star
