We can't win playoff games, we can't win regular season games, we can't win the draft lottery.

But hell yeah we can win All Star Weekend!

hopefully Saturday night tickets aren't too expensive.

Sweeeeeeeeet!!! I know that the recent surge in hotel building was what was necessary to secure this bid and glad the NBA delivered. Definitely should see some modernizations/updates to TWCA I would assume over the next 2+ years.

I believe this was one of the requirements by the NBA for us to host as well.

I'm glad we took the initiative and made it a high priority to win that weekend. It will put Charlotte in a good light and hopefully bring the city a lot of money for that weekend.

Oh man, I still remember sitting in the upper deck watching Craig Hodges knock down 19 in a row and Dee Brown pumping up his sneakers like it was yesterday. I can't believe how long it's been. Good to finally get this thing back here!

Finally we get to have some players involved in the rookie game, skills contest, shooting stars, dunks and 3s. (OK, probably not the 3s. LOL).

Certainly hoping to get out there with my wife for this event. I was too young in 91, but sure do love the all star weekend.

I went to the 1991 All-star game with my dad. Pretty cool memory.

Yeah me too. We used to split two different season tickets with a group of 6 from my Dad's work. One upper and one lower. I don't know how he pulled it off be we got to go to both events upstairs. I was so stoked. Magic was my hero and I was dying to see him. Props to my dad and your's too fats!

Awesome! Yeah, I was just thinking about how much of the construction in Uptown is going to be completed by then. I know there's a lot of stuff going on, I wonder if that giant project with the Whole Foods will be done by then.
