We should have another home game, but whatever...if I were MJ/Clifford I'd tell the team to just mail in the Pistons and Pacers game. 6 Preseason games is more than enough to get ready for the regular season.

The games in China will be like a home game... because everyone will be cheering for the Hornets.

I wonder if the owner(s) is getting a cut of the ticket revenues.

It's a nightmare...
I all the time have to wake up 30-40 min earlier that I normally do so that I can watch the game while I have breakfast.

And all the time hiding the score, and not opening Facebook so I don't get spoiled on the score...

Its usually 1am for me. Worst time in the middle of the night. Most of the avid NBA fans in Hungary are rooting for western conf. teams (3-4am starting time, which can be a managable thing with an early sleep) or for example Raps fans, who are usually starting at midnight here.

Anyone want 4 FREE tickets to the Bulls game on the 19th? We have season tickets in 209 (right in the middle, pretty low row) I will hook up a regular poster on here with them as long as they actually go to the game themselves........

Clifford says 13 players worked out today, which he considers great turnout for voluntary workouts.

So who was missing?

Batum is at EuroBasket. Not sure who else. I know it's not Kemba, Lamb, MKG, Frank, Zeller, Aaron Harrison, Hansbrough, PJ, or Lin based on photos / reports. I'm sure Marvin is there since he hangs and trains in NC normally during the offseason.

Must be two of Hawes, Al, Daniels, Roberts, and EWill.

Al was training in Santa Barbara as recently as 2 weeks ago but not sure if he's still there

Good interview with Clifford today. On my phone so I'm too lazy to copy and paste.

Frank is getting drilled in scrimmages by older guys, but Clifford thinks he can be a really good player.

Wants Zeller to make around 32% from 3

Jefferson has lost considerable weight

Offense isn't going to start and end with Jefferson

A lot of the offense will go through Batum

He admitted the team wasn't prepared to start last season. And he took blame

He's telling me everything I want to hear, but I'll believe it when I see it on the court. Is Al's weight loss going to help his defense on the court? Is Alfense ten possessions in a row finally dead? Is Batum going to play an advanced McBob role? How do we make sure we don't open this season like we opened last season? Is our newfound 3-point shooting good enough to offset the resulting lack of interior defense?

Only thing that worries me is the comment about Frank getting beat up. Our other bigs are soft as **** and if they're too physical for him then I can't help but be worried.

I also don't like the comment about MKG never being a 20 ppg guy. Its probably true in any case, but if they wouldn't have had that attitude towards him from the beginning and actually tried to develop his offense as much as possible it probably would have been better in the long run. I still hate Clifford's development philosophy. You never heard the bucks saying the Greak Freak was never going to be a 20ppg scorer so he should just focus on rebounding and defense. Instead, they've been trying to develop every part of his game as much as possible and doing things like letting him play PG in summer league... Kawhi couldn't shoot or handle particularly well and looked like he would never have any chance of being a 20 per game scorer when he came into the league, but that didn't stop the Spurs from turning him into a good shooter and their go-to guy. Yeah, I still hate our coaching staff...

We also have never heard Cliff say that, that wasn't what he said. I highly doubt with Giannis or Kawhi will ever have a single season where they average 20 ppg. He wasn't saying MKG shouldn't even try to refine his offensive game, and that's pretty obvious given how we hired him shooting coaches to do just that.

I'm not worried about Frank getting beat up, that's just our guys doing what they should be doing by preparing him for what he'll face during the season.

Before Clifford mentioned it I really hadn't thought about the matchup advantage on offense we have now thanks to the size of Batum and MKG. I can only think of a couple teams in the NBA that will have the size to matchup against both of them on the wings.

I'll believe it when i see it, didn't' he say the same thing (about improving the offense and stuff) last off season
