game is being televised by Miami, so there should be pie. I won't be online during the game, so make sure the GT has lots of juicy info for me to read later

Cliff said something a few days ago about not playing some of the vets in both the Orlando and Miami game, back to back. Look to see a lot more of the bench tonight and probably no Jefferson.

I just hope it's not going to be the same camera angle ... It was so hard to watch yesterday...

It shouldn't be the same. This will be a properly televised game. The previous game was not televised. It was cobbled together from the jumbotron video feed paired with the audio of a Magic radio play-by-play or something, I think.

I think you are right about that. Also, I have trouble seeing Marvin Williams covering Chris Bosh, if the latter plays power forward rather than center, especially with Michael Kidd-Gilchrist out. So we should see some different combinations tonight. I was right about Batum sliding over to the three to play with Lin and Lamb, and would expect more of that tonight. Hawes and Hansbrough might both play at the five.

I want to see Zeller on Bosh for a long stretch of time. Bosh is the kind of power forward that Zeller should be able to match up well against. We can't match up against Whiteside though. We'll just have to attack the basket and put him in foul trouble.

Don't worry, Whiteside won't be playing tonight.

that's a load off my mind. The thought of Hawes attempting to out-rebound Whiteside was just bad.

Jefferson, Batum and Hawes are all out tonight, per Clifford

Wade and Dragic should sit this one out, too.

pretty keen to watch Lamb and to a lesser extent PJ.
I actually think MKG getting injured may be the best thing to happen to Lambs career.

Maybe he wanted to rest Batum after all those games Batum played for France this summer. And there are a lot of bigs to try evaluate, so it makes sense to rest Al. Spencer Hawes got his tryout yesterday, and he's a vet on a contract that goes beyond this season, so it's not like he's going to get cut.
Cliff needs playing time to evaluate the borderline cases and find out who he needs to cut before the season begins.
I hope we get to see some Kemba/Lin backcourt pairing today to see how they play off each other. They mentioned it was one thing that was being looked at in practice, and Cliff has expressed an interest in playing them next to each other, but I don't think we got to see them play side by side yesterday.

Heat starters will be Goran Dragic, Dwyane Wade, Luol Deng, Chris Bosh & Udonis Haslem. Whoever covers Bosh will have his work cut out for him. Dragic and Bosh have never played together.

yes but I also believe that Lamb really will benefit playing along side Batum, who is out tonight. but if MKG is out at the beginning of the regular season & Lamb gets the start, he could breakout.

Anyone have a link to a stream I could use to watch the game? Even though I live in NC, I don't have the channel to watch the game

What kind of **** schedules back to back road games for the first two games of a team's preseason? That's awful. "Hey, I know you guys haven't played a real game in 5 months, so how about we make you play two nights in a row, on the road. Sound good?"
