As I said in the last game thread, Cliff should consider resting some of the main rotation guys. They surely have to be on fumes after that trip, especially Lin. Give majority of the minutes to the fringe guys. I'd like to see Frank play heavy minutes. Also, if PJ, Daniels and Elliot are finally healthy, give them some minutes. And lets see what old man Wilkins can do.

Agreed, hopefully Daniels, EWill and PJ get healthy and they can give Batum and Lin the night off.

Haha, I agree though. I want to see the other players too plus I don't want Lin to waste all of his good energy and get burned out before the season even starts.

Dude has earned a break. I would say rest the whole starting five, but I want to see if Cody will shoot some more threes so am ok with him playing.

pretty sure our 2nd and 3rd stringers can run those knicks out of town

This is a different Knicks team than last year. They're bigger (especially if Porzingas plays), more athletic and can shoot. I'd love to see at least a 1 quarter of Knicks V Hornets starters.

I'd like to see frank get some significant burn. I'm very curious about what he can do at this point.

Hey, two 4-0 team collide, the matchup of the (pre season) ages!

I'm guessing some of the other guys will get some burns, especially Damien Wilkens and a few of the guys that's been hurt so far (if they're healthy. ) but I think you probably want to keep some momentum going, resting AL would be ok but probably not too many more guys beyond that. (mayyybe Batum is ok as well.)

If the Hornets were still in China we would have had hourly reports of Lin being sick. Now that he is back in the media black hole of Charlotte, expect to hear nothing until game time, unless it comes from Lin directly.

Probable starters for @hornets tonight vs NY Knicks: Walker, Batum, M. Williams, Zeller & Jefferson.

I think ball movement and the 3 point shooting will be the key to tonight's game.

Interested to see how this works. Serious size in that starting lineup.

interesting, seems like Cliff really is going to try a few different things.

guessing this sort of lineup, Marvin would be switched out faster than the other 4 guys in favor of either Lin or Lamb.

After shoot around today @hornets coach Steve Clifford says that Eliot Williams will be available tonight along with Damien Wilkins.

Injury update for @hornets: Elliot Williams available tonight. P.J. Hairston and Troy Daniels still out, likely to play Monday.
