PS8: Hornets @ Pacers Thu Oct 22 7PM EST

Post#1 » by fatlever » Thu Oct 22, 2015 3:42 pm

Tonight we go for the undefeated preseason.

I expect several rotation players to sit out tonight since we played last night.

I want to see more minutes for Daniels to see if he can build off the strong game last night. I want to see Frank and Cody more involved in the offense.

I think Cliff should sit all starters including Jeremy Lin, and play strickly 2nd unit and end of bench players. I am ok with this loss if so, but going for 8-0 would be tempting.

Batum should definitely rest. Sit Kemba and Lamb as well. Jefferson probably should sit also. Possibly even Hawes. I'd maybe give Lin a few minutes since Kemba is out, but make Roberts play most of the minutes with Williams also getting some PG minutes. Frank and Cody need to play.

I want to see Frank and Cody start and play alongside one another.

Probably going to be our last chance to see EWill in a Hornets uniform.

And ditto to wanting to see some Frank - Cody court time.

Overheard at a Charlotte restaurant last night: "How's the leg of Lamb?"

I hope the winning continues in the regular season. I do agree to rest the starters now. There is no point in risking injury in this game.

Lol, this is epic.

Anyways, the preseason is already a success, I can careless on if we get the 8-0 record or 7-1. The real test will be our first regular season game on the road against the heat. You can bet your house Heat wants to win this one at home, especially after they lost to the hornets during preseason when clearly they were trying to win that game.

I hope we can be pleasantly surprised after the first 10 regular season games. If we can somehow get 5-5 or better after the first 10 games, we will go very far this year.

82 x 3 = 246.

I predict Lin will get 246 Hammers this year. :-?

There should be some good feeds out there, this game is on LP. None of this jumbotron feed stuff.

This is an article that discussed preseason results vs. real season results. It might apply to Hornets this year.

Yeah pre-season matters.
