I feel like we're going to need a Batum love badge too. The second he hits his patented "meh" patch of the season, half this board is probably going to hate him. Also that month will probably coincide with a pair of Noah Vonleh triple-doubles and Gerald Henderson shooting 55% from deep on 8 attempts a game so half this board will be on suicide watch and ready to trade the whole team for late 1sts, while the other half of the board will be up Jeremy Lin's anus over his most recent 14-point game and ready to give him a max contract so yeah we need a Batum love badge.

Those are dope! I need a Stauskas one. One small tweak; it's supposed to be Love Dome not Love Zone. The dome makes it like a phallic symbol for your man crush. This board is the MKG love dome. Jeremy Lin might penetrate the impenetrable though.

Old news, but PJ will be a starter tomorrow. Not sure if it was announced who will start between Marvin or Cody. I assume Cody. Gives us a nice bench - Lin, Lamb, Marvin, Frank, Hawes.

But I HATE the coaching staff rewarding PJ like this, just because he fits the mold of what Cliff wants with that lineup, a supposed catch and shoot wing. PJ has done nothing to deserve this start. He will not alter his shot selection just because he is the 4th or 5th option.

I want Troy Daniels in that spot if Lamb can't go. Daniels would outplay PJ, easily.

i'll give PJ a benefit of a doubt, we simply don't know what the practice have been like and pre-season shooting sample is so small.

having said that, if they start PJ and Marvin, it seems fairly likely that the second team just massively outplay the first.

In Lamar's last blog he highlighted a lot of plays where Daniels was lost on defense. I wonder how much that has to do with him getting more PT. Cliff has made a lot of comments this preseason about how improved PJ is on defense.

I looked up all of PJs 3s made/attempted, including summer league, preseason and regular season since he entered the league. Its 32.3%, something like 101 of 305... or close to it. Sadly, its about the same as his overall FG%.

I'd be happy if he never shot, just stood at the 3pt line, let defenders run at him, pump fake, then pass it. Fake spacing.

@Miami, @Atlanta, vs Atlanta, vs Chicago, @Dallas, @San Antonio. Really tough start. Would be thrilled to start 2-4.

I think he's a crazy good practice shooter or something

Very tough start. Don't think we'll get 6-0 but 5-1 should be doable. All comes down to @San Antonio, which we will be favorites in but it could easily be a trap game.

man 2 home game, vs 5 teams that either are all clear playoff or at least some people think they should e playoff team, the easiest might be vs a 60 win team at home or a 50+ win team in Dallas.

If they win 2 or more games they're probably good, if they win 3+ they're basically a playoff lock as long as they don't get badly hurt.

If you want to be a playoff contender, you have to take it to every one of those teams. The record does not matter so much as how well the team plays. They have to be striving to the end in every game. I think this group of guys has some tough hombres, unselfish, too. But first you have to believe. It helps that some of the new guys like Batum, Hansbrough, and Lamb come from winning programs and know what it takes.

I can hardly wait!

He certainly isn't any good at his local YMCA.

I'll be thrilled with one win. The only team that isn't a playoff team is Dallas and they are still better than us if healthy. Hoping we can salvage a home win out of that stretch. We are absolute **** on the road, so I don't expect us to beat two eastern playoff teams on the road or two west teams on the road of that caliber.
