Hopefully we are not tired from the Knicks game the night before and can put the Nets away. I can't be in Charlotte on Wednesday so I will hook up a regular poster on this board with a pair of tickets.

it is not going to be an easy one...Brook Lopez and Thedus Young will have a happy day inside...
There is no sure win for this team against anybody if the offense played like tonight...

There isn't a team in the league that would be a cakewalk for this team. Talent wise were pretty average. Pretty average overall in general to be honest. Wouldn't be surprised at all if we lost tonight.

Hornets need to share the ball tonight, let the offense run through Batum, regardless if Kemba gets hot. Kemba is not a good enough player to be allowed to just dominate the ball all game, he had 90 touches with no one else getting over 44, on the contrary the Knicks 6 players over 50 touches. Whenever Kemba starts hot early, we tend to lose, and I'm not putting that entirely on Kemba, while he needs to learn game flow, Clifford also has to make it a point to tell kemba to settle down in those situations.

Hornets need to have Batum get at least 80-100 touches per game to be effective, if they are just going to let it be the Kemba Show it will be more of the same all season long.

I'm not too worried for this game though, there perimeter defense is just unbearable. Look for Kemba Batum and Lamb to live in the paint tonight, as well as quite a few made threes. I think this is another showcase game for our new offensive fire power.

I hope Cody doesn't start again because I really don't like his role in our starting lineup. The only plus side is it means more minutes for Frank, but it is more minutes with a group where other guys are expecting to get shots. Marv matches up well with Young so starting Lamb seems doable based on matchups - he could cover RHJ and we could start Batum on JJ.
Jack has played very well lately so Kemba needs to bring it on the defensive end.
I think we're going to continue to be frustrated with our big rotation until we either move Marv to SF full time or move a big. I still think once Frank gets up to speed and builds strength, it makes sense to plug him in at PF in the starting lineup and to move Marv to SF. That gives us really good size, forces a smaller guard to cover Marv or Batum on the perimeter, and should result in better ball movement and spacing.

nets have been playing pretty decently lately. almost beat GS (actually, should've beat GS) and beat ATL.

This board is going to have a meltdown if we lose this game.
Definitely need to win two of the next three though, otherwise I'm afraid we're well on our way to sub-40 wins and no playoffs.

Remember that time we lost to the Nets after they had lost 400 games in a row?
That sucked.
