MKG and Jefferson are out. Batum, Lin and Hawes are questionable.

Jonas is back for Raptors.

And Slam will be at the game in some fancy seats.

Slam are you wearing some Hornets/Bobcats gear to the game? Perhaps your DJ Augustin jersey?

going to be a once in a life time beating...for the hornets that is. Batum out, lin possible but fresh off injury or maybe out, big Al out, hawes out. On the flip side, raptors want revenge for last time, and lowry just doesn't have 2 bad games in a row against the same team. Derozan pissed off the way game ended, biyombo playing like allstar. T.Ross probably going to step up, same with Valancuinas. We need to come out of the gate strong and fast to stop the momentum shifting over to them. Otherwise they are going to stomp all over us. Raptors are legit top 3 team in the east.

Hey Raps fan here, nervous about this. Here in Toronto you guys are known as our Fathers  ...nonetheless it should be a good one.

The @hornets Hawes (low back tightness) and Batum (R toe sprain) both participated in shootaround. Will test injuries during pregame.

The problem now is if Batum plays or not. But Bats is not his usual self so I doubt he can have the big game needed. Of course Kemba's going to need to drop north of 25 and be on the floor 42 minutes or so. Kaminsky, Lamb need to supply more scoring and PJ needs to stay out of foul trouble guarding DeRozan. Lowry likely to have a better game than last. With Biyombo being Moyombo, shots have to fall from the perimeter. Hope Marv finds his shot. Defense has to communicate, DeRozan and Lowry are the main guys to contain but other guys can hurt you too on that team.

Hoping for a win tonight. And hope Lin heals as soon as possible but of course takes the time necessary to not cause any more damage to this ankle for the long run when he returns. Spence has been out awhile, his spreading the floor would be useful tonight.

Thats a real bummer about Lin. I was hoping for another repeat of the last game vs the Toronto.

Seems like we are due for one of those inexplicable hot shooting nights were we get up 20 in the 3rd. Not sure if tonight will be the night, but it would be a good start to the tough January.

Especially with the ass chewing Cliff handed out after last game. Focus and defensive intensity shouldn't be an issue.

Imma be in the building for this. Raps are probably going to roll, though. don't like this matchup, for once. typically Charlotte gives them all they can handle, but without Lin and whoever else, it might be tough. hey, maybe I'll see another Kemba game-winner. that would be sweet.

Apparently Biz signed a two year deal with them for 6 million, but the second year is a player option. He is gonna get paid by someone if he keeps playing like this.

after you lose twice to one of the WOAT teams, the name is burned into memory no matter how many logos we switch.

but again, whatever - this isn't even a real game. if we lose, it'll be because Toronto is gonna treat us like a Golden State matchup. If we win? doesn't mean a thing because we have them downloaded completely.

just looking for a fun game. watch lamb go for 50

We are 40-27 all-time vs Raptors including old Hornets, 17-7 since 2009.
We beat them 6 times in a row between 2013 and 2015.
We even beat them twice in the season where we only won 7 games.

That is why they call us "daddy"
