hard to see us winning this one with the game last night (Batum played 42), the injuries we have and their strength.

It will hurt my eyes to see Westbrook goes off against us.

todays game is not as hopeless as the one against the warriors on the 4th lol. That is a road game against the top team in the west. The only other team I wouldn't want to face is the Spurs. Thunder are good, but not invincible.

Have we ever beaten the Thunder? I can't remember the last time we beat them. Maybe when they were bad in the early Durant years. I remember vividly that game when it was 64-24 in the 2nd quarter and we were the laughing stock of the league

Westbrook always goes bananas vs CHA and kemba usually doesn't perform well. I think PJ should be given a shot at westbrook, slide marv onto durant. I dont really remember PJ guarding big pg's only wings, but i think physically he matches up pretty well.

It takes an MKG or K Leonard caliber defender to moderately contain Westbrook. He's too explosive. No guard on the Hornets can contain him. Hope for an off-shooting night. Ibaka protects the rim, can hit 3s, Durant is one of the game's best. Tough, tough matchup, even at home. Hope it is competitive, whoever is on the floor. Batum is trying but he's not really himself out there.

just what I was thinking when looking it up on bk-ref and coming here to share with the data.

we've only won a good Thunder team once, in 2010:
http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/201003170CHA.html

ever since they've moved to Oklahoma City, we've had a record of 2-11. currently on a nine game losing streak. also beat them once in their first year at OKC.

^That means Hornets are due for a win. Tonight would be a good night for it. Am I delusional? Completely.

No injury report. This means Batum, Lin and Hawes are game-time decisions?

OK I jumped the gun. Lin and Hawes game time decisions. If Lin plays, he'll start.

Its the same thing every year it seems, injuries just wrecking any chance of this marginal team from making a run.

the betting line on this game is OKC minus 5.5.

That seems like the easiest bet of the year.
