Yes, the streak of missed layups by Spencer Hawes will be broken, with 3:35 left in the 2nd quarter off a sweet pass by Jeremy Lin.

i say this is going to be EZ win, because boys are hungry, more like starved for a W. Home court advantage and team is pretty much back at full health. Not even gonna watch, thats how much confidence I have

Going to be a tough one. The Hawks know how to trap hornets PnR and was very successful in the last two meetings. Guys have to swing the ball early, attack on the second PnR...

I think we were starved for a W in each of the last 4-5 games. We just weren't healthy enough, and we couldn't hit shots or defend to save our lives. I hope something changes with the two days of rest.

Can Charlotte stop the great Kent Bazemore?

Cody is the only big that can guard anything. Its still hard for me to believe that many fans came into this season not thinking this would be a problem for us. We honestly deserve to be getting our asses handed to us like we have recently. There is no reason we should be this week inside when we had the option to lock down one of the best rebounders and rim protectors in the entire league for a few million. This is what happens when you build a team around an overrated coaching philosophy and Al Jefferson. We don't have a single viable big that is above average at anything (other than maybe Cody's ability to run the floor, but that gets wasted).

thats not all true... frank can guard guys all they way out to the perimeter, he just gets lost on switches and screens.

marvin, despite his fall off in play, is still doing a good job handling larger covers low while cody plays help d for everone

hawes isn't terrible... he's just hawes

none of those guys can play any real pnr d tho. hawks gonna eat that up

Our defense was fine when we were healthy, even without MKG.

Clifford says when you have night that the shots aren't falling you have to be able to defend no matter what #Hornets.

SportsFromMyEyes ‏@JTyree704 19m19 minutes ago Charlotte, NC

Clifford says the team needs to get back to how they played during games 12-23 being the second best defensive team against a good schedule.

"You have to play well at both ends of the floor, and that's what we need right now." Coach Cliff after practice

The Hornets are winless in 2016 ant 0-6, tomorrow night against Atlanta isn't the team you want to play when looking for a win #Hornets.

SportsFromMyEyes ‏@JTyree704 12m12 minutes ago Charlotte, NC

Kemba Walker said all of the right things, but his body language led me to believe other wise. The losing is taking its toll #Hornets.

Hoping for lots of things, but really hoping to see locked in Lamb this game. He played an excellent game against Denver (notwithstanding a few head scratchers like passing up wide open 3's), and I was particularly impressed with his effort on the defensive end.

Teams adjusted to what we do. Our defense was never at any point versatile this season.

I would say that more about the offense. Opposing teams have adjusted, so our offense is even more predictable than before.
