BF to the refs. Can't be mad at any of the players. Not your fault our GM didn't put a single defensive minded player on this team

Gold: Batum
Silver: Kemba
Bronze: Frank
Brown Frown: Continuing to trap, leaving Rino wide effing open over and over. I get sticking to your guns, but damn, that was painful.

Seems pretty easy to decide after this one, those three were far and away the best performers.

Kemba
Batum
Lin

Giving it to lin over frank, because lins D was actually one of the reasons this game was even close in the first place

BF: Marv, Frank, marv for getting into foul trouble by the 3rd quarter; frank for being a revolving door on the D, just let everyone through.

Gold - Batum
Silver - Kemba (got destroyed on P/R all night, but I blame Clifford more than anything for that failure). Kemba can't guard Tyreke. That is an awful matchup that should have been recognized before the game even started.
Bronze - Marvin

i disagree. While his offense really sukd balls tonight, his D was actually pretty reasonable. He read the PnR's pretty well the whole night, put pressure on the other teams perimeter shooters. Even that last play with anthony davis alley oop, Lin was supposed to guard the perimeter 3, but saw what was happening with kemba tripping over the screen and cody moving over to the other player instead of sticking to AD. Lin obviously could see what was about to happen and was the only one to actually move in to try and get in position, but couldn't do anything to a 6'11 SF in the middle of a dunk.

Another play at the end of the half when kemba missed the fg attempt and ryan anderson was running back to shoot the 3 with 0.2 seconds on the clock. Lin literally had his hands right in front of andersons face the whole time while that shot took place. Anderson got a miracle shot in, on one leg at a bad angle and about to step out of bounds. Probably one of the most ridiculous shots ive seen in a while, and NOT something you expect outside of Curry. Lin was the only one to go back on defense and hassled ryan anderson. The others?? They were limping back thinking half was over anyway.

It might not look like lin played hard defense, but he did play SMART defense, you could see it littered throughout the entire game. There was nothing more that you could ask for him on the defensive end. The rest of the team, played like hobos on the D.

I actually think Marvin Williams might have been a better interior defender than cody zeller/frank kaminsky tonight, if it weren't for the fouls he got himself into trouble with. Its the reason I give him a BF. Getting into foul trouble so early in the game...cmon marv, you are supposed to be a pro.

BF: I second the brown frown for Clifford. I was wishing for a video game controller to make my own changes to what we were doing out there.

I agree with bigbob. I thought Lin's D was very good. They just shot over him. Nothing you can do. He had AD's arm on that last play and he was too strong to stop at that point. It was Kemba's turn to trip over everyone today. I hope his ankle's ok after stepping on AD earlier in the game. Lin looked hurt - this time his left ankle or something. He was limping along in the second half.

Batum (this game did it with scoring in the 2nd half, 1st half looks lke Pelicans were prepared for his passes to Cody)
Kemba (really big clutch shots, maybe Lin should have guarded Evans or Collison as Kemba struggled with them)
Frank (not totally loving his game but did play with some confidence)

BF Clifford, he's coached games better

This really was a bad loss. Yeah, we shouldn't had a chance to tie with 2 foul shots at the end but if we don't approach road games with better defensive communication and execution, struggling teams are going to hand out Ls to us. 3rd struggling team to do this now and Cliff needs to find an answer.

Lin and Lamb. If they aren't good, don't play them tonight. The other guys will have to get it done.

Batum
Kemba
Frank (don't really want to give him a hammer for his non-existent defense but the rule says I need to give it to someone. Would give it to Lin for his decent defense and effort but I'd probably get attacked for doing that lol...)

BF: Cliff
