Just got back from NYC, first time visiting ever. Stayed in Chinatown and spent the whole trip in Manhattan. Great city. Need to go back, there is so much to do

First time I went was in 2002. It was the middle of summer and stinking hot.

I remember being in SoHo and asking someone how far away Central Park was. They said about 12 blocks. I figured - no problem, I'll walk it - be there in no time.

I had no idea how big a NYC block is.

Why does Matt Rhule always look like he just crawled out of bed after a night of mucho fria cervezas and a big family-sized bag of Doritos?

Not saying anything's wrong with that.

Jesus the Canes are terrible on the road

The good news is they have home ice advantage against every team left except Colorado

Charlotte FC just fired their coach halfway through their expansion season lol. I don't know anything about soccer but I thought they were doing well.

Meanwhile Mart Rhule still hasn't been canned.

My theory is there is something unflattering going on that led to that decision. Tepper had to know how it would look.

Ramirez (Charlotte FC coach) had been pretty critical of the team. He pretty much said they sucked before the season began.

They've been pretty solid for an expansion team though.

Could've been something to do with transfers. Charlotte had a pretty big DP signing that fell through when the player ended up being under investigation in Spain.

I really don't care that the radio guy was kicked, but my guess is no one has heard a peep on anything for his protection. Maybe he was perving on Ash or something. It was right after she showed up. :p

The tourism industry has gotten off to a slow start up here in the mountains, wondering if its the gas prices/economy...you guys felt anything? Any changed vacation plans?
