Thanks for the suggestion. I went up Caesars Head and got some good shots on the way up. I wanted to find a Hornets hat to buy but all they had was Clemson's stuff so maybe next time I can get a hat.

Are you able to DVR with Sling or Youtube? Typically I don't get to watch games until an hour or two after the fact.

It also cost $5 for DVR on SlingTV.

Bitrate, fps and sound quality are also a concern for me. Most channels are at 5Mbps 30fps and 2channel stereo.

Streams are also often 4 minutes behind live TV so that may be a concern at times if you are watching big events and aren't careful of spoilers on your phone or like to interact on forums and twitter during events.

I saw that about ESPN, was less worried about that because it does have TNT and can DVR that.

Also doesn't have CBS at all and only On Demand for NBC.

Chabber, do you know how that quality compares to other services?

OTA: is around 18 Mbps
DTV: 9 Mbps 60fps 5.1 Dolby

DTV Now: 6Mbps 60 fps
Vue: 5 Mbps 60 fps
SlingTV: 3.5-5Mbps 30 fps. (ESPN is 4.8 Mbps 60 fps)

From what I'm reading, users that have tried them all say that DTV Now and Vue look the best. The 60fps matter for the motion in sports.

After what you said about PlayStation Vue. I looked into it and it sounds like a good deal.

Can play on 5 devices at once.
$45 gets you TNT, ESPN, NBATV, NFL Network and Fox Regional. (DTV Now is $60 to get those channels minus NFL Network)

Finished flying school. wasn't nearly as bad as anticipated. both hands on the keyboard is the way to go. one hand controls turning and one hand controls height.

Got PS Vue, and it works well but the guide is super weird on Roku and my laptop and I don't like it. Not a huge deal because I'm only going to use it for discreet sporting events, but it's nearly impossible to flip back and forth between a couple live events. Tried to use it to keep tabs on three college football games last Saturday and it was really annoying.
