I am a big fan of his wife, Kealia Watt (UNC 2013), who plays forward for the Chicago Red Stars. They spend a lot of time together in Chicago, but Green Bay would be the better destination.

JJ Watt is such a class act.

Where ever he lands that team will be better off for his presence.

Why is it impossible

Post#1682 » by luciano-davidwesley » Wed Feb 17, 2021 10:37 am

Why is it so hard to buy an authentic (not replica or swingman) jersey on the hornets fan shop? I really want to get an authentic (or at least swingman) Lamelo Ball jersey association edition (white) there is nothing like that for sale. Why is this so hard? Am I missing something? (Or part of my brain lol)

charlotte fc tix prices are **** nuts. they are getting destroyed online for this nonsense. cheapest season tix more expensive than the MOST expensive tix in 17 of 20 premier league teams. surely highest tix in mls.

I find it hard to believe they will fill the stands with actual fans at those ticket prices. Are they just going for a corporate event type crowd like the Knights? Every Knights game I've ever been to was for a corporate event and 75%+ of the people there were for corporate events

probably one of those things where they mark it up by like 300%, create a frenzy, a handful of die hards buy at that price, and lower it to 2x what it should be and then everyone's like wow what a steal

I am watching the UNC Tar Heels against Louisville tonight. They are finally starting to look like a basketball team. If they can cut down on the turnovers, they might make some noise in the postseason. On the other hand, the team has a tendency to go very cold at the worst times.

They have been looking like a basketball team more or less since the Duke win.

I think if the Carolina Panthers go all-in and trade for Deshaun Watson they'll be in love for a while...until he gets hurt, and then regret trading all that draft cheddar and young player talent to acquire him.

The entire offensive line needs to be rebuilt. They still have a weak LB corps, CB needs and confidence training for Teddy Bridgewater. The cap position isn't THAT good yet. And they still have a big decision to make on Curtis Samuel, whom I'm wild about.

But if the Panthers do trade up, I hope it's for the OT Peniel. If they trade down, it shouldn't be too low to select Mac Jones.

Dude I ALSO want us to trade up for Sewell if we are going to trade up for anyone. I just think the capital it would take to prize away Watson would be too much and would rather see us save the cap space for Moton and other O-Linemen. I think as far as MLB goes we can get a starter in the 2nd or 3rd.

The Washington Spirit, the NWSL soccer team, announced a partnership with Shenandoah University, whereby the university will help further the education of the players, and the club will provide expertise to the university.

https://www.winchesterstar.com/winchester_star/su-washington-spirit-ink-3-year-partnership/article_4dc94978-1126-5971-8269-099660fe4167.html

This is the kind of partnership NBA clubs should be looking into. Most NBA players these days never finished their degrees, but doing so would prepare them for life after their playing days are over. Better education might also keep them from blowing all their money while they are young and rich.

So the former president of Barcelona just got arrested in connections to Barcagate.

EDIT:

I don't want to double post but on a different subject I hope the Panthers sign Kyle Van Noy.

EDIT2:

I found an absolute insane stats website:

https://www.statmuse.com/

EDIT3:
The daughter of the owner of Valncia fc in response to fans protesting their ownership:
Spoiler:
In case the image doesn't load:
"Here again. Some Valencia CF fans are scolding and cursing at my family and I. Don't they get it? The club is ours and we can do anything we want with it and no one can say anything."
Image

Can you imagine having such a horrible owner? I know we talk smack about MJ but can you imagine if him or his sons were out here spouting this bull????

Anyone here trying out Top Shots? Looks like I'm finally within the range to get a pack tonight. I was randomly placed around 30,000th in line for 60k packs, with 150k total people in line.

To followup: got a "Seeing Stars" pack for $15, which guaranteed an All-Star and two others. From what I've seen I got lucky, most people got two commons with their all-star, but I pulled a limited edition Blake Griffin with an All-Star Ben Simmons and common Goran Dragic.

Saw someone mention this should be Blake's only Pistons "moment" so I was curious, headed over to the market and people are trying to flip him for as high 4 figures. You can see recent sales though, and most weren't paying near that. Based on what similar serial numbers were going for I posted him at $148 and it sold within the hour. Not a bad ROI.
