Me too, I want this to happen, but I don't want to be locked into a contract with him for more than 3 years including this one.

Al Jefferson, Cody Zeller, and something else would be pretty fair if Houston is ready to move on, but doesn't want to dump him for nothing.

I just don't want to trade Kemba/MKG/Nic/Frank/unprotected picks. After that, I'm down for whatever

Lee and Howard? Cliff's getting the band back together. Next we'll trade Lin for Jameer and sign Rashard Lewis with our open roster spot.

I think we are able to keep Nic, but that's why if we trade for Dwight hopefully we don't give up too many assets

This is a toughy for me. Never been a fan of Dwight, but mainly it's bc of the Howard-Okafor draft and I think Howard clowned us one time through the media.

However, he presents a big man that could mesh, and would love his play in the paint. I would be weary of what we'd have to send to Houston though. If it's nothing more than Big Al + Marv + non-important filler, then it would be intriguing. A 3 month rental that I want no part of past this season would require a minimal return on our end for me to like it. I don't know that we can get that done without giving up someone like Zeller or possibly more vital.

Clifford has coached Dwight at both Orlando and LA. He seems to really like Clifford. Maybe his attitude changes, who knows. I wouldn't trade much for him besides Al and some filler. Maybe an extremely protected 1st rounder with it.

If we get Dwight it's going to be a deadline deal and only because HOU can't get a better offer.

I tend to agree, and I read "not able to find a workable deal" as "Rockets want Kemba or MKG and Charlotte isn't going to do that."

yea they definitely want MKG or Kemba or Nic or a combo of the 3.
